My stress levels are down so far. In case tax is wondering , yes im still out the backyard enjoying the sunny weather and having a beer and enjoying it. Knowing that my wife and kids are safe. Bring on december 20 when we fly to Lao. She accepts that she doesnt need to go early without us

She seems more reasonable but were all still walking on eggshells trying to keep her sweet. She talked about selling the house in vientiene as its a hassle for her mum. I agree. Sell it. Live better here .yesterday the team that i have contracted to maintain the pool messaged to say they need another 200 000 kip per month and as my wifes not talking to the wife of the asshole barry that talked her into buying plane tickets and escorting there kids to lao. Its complicated but i know a guy an aussie whos in the pool.business more expensive but fuck it pay peanuts get monkeys

Hope it all comes good for you and the family mate. Gets ever more complicated, but I reckon all your experience will get you through it.
    Good luck.

Mrs bld is definately making progress. Shes still a bit quirky but seems to have stopped seeing me as the enemy , she still thinks theres nothing wrong with her and why does she have to take this medicine that is making her increasingly slothlike and flatulant. Lately shes still getting up early but ive noticed by about lunchtime shes run out of steam. A consequence of the olanzapine as the constant farting,

A couple of nights ago after getting of the phone to her friend in Lao she flat out refused the medication. Told her in no uncertain terms take it or pack your pyjamas im taking you back to hospital. Fortunately she decided to take it. Her doctor appointment in about a week maybe they will decrease the meds? I hope so

Tough love is sometimes the only option. I did think the flatulence was quite normal for both partners?

Could be more her body adapting to the drugs. She has probably never really been medicated at all so it hits her hard with the side effects. But as you said there is real improvement. I would hope she adapts to it and continues to take it and improve. The same as HBP or any other chronic condition, the right meds can help.

Its hard because in her mind she doesnt believe theres a problem. Cant understand why the drugs? Nothing wrong with me. Why the drugs.

A bit of an update. After her outpatient appointment it was explained to her that she would likely need to keep taking the olanzapine for 6 to 9 months and to dis continue doing so would likely result in a relapse and re hospitalisation. Ive told the doc were of to Lao december and asked if that was a good idea ? No problem he said just ensure the medication. At the moment i ensure she takes her pill at 7.30 daily and it looks like this will be my task for the next 9 months even now shes better but still wanting to do a week in a temple in Lao. I guess i have to turn up at her temple to give her the pill. If not she wont take it. And i trust them monks as far as i could throw em to give her a pill . So i guess its gonna be set the alarm. For 7.30pm head for her temple and medicate her. Sure hope she changes her mind though
