I've been living in Israel for one year. I came to the country thinking the people would be like you described. I have actually met a lot of very wonderful people. Yes, some of them seem a bit rude/loud/rough on the surface but if you actually speak to them they are a lot different under that exterior. I have really enjoyed my stay here, would stay longer if my company asked me to.
BE ALERT, this place needs more Lerts

Gee maybe because Bahrain is "Business Friendly".
I thought he had a very good reason for breaking the law, as he explained to the police, .... " told officers that he enjoyed smoking marijuana".
Good enough explanation .... Go directly to jail, do not pass go, to not collect 200 Baht!
Urm thats a easy question.
You ban the throttlers because there despised throughout Thailand and most of the world because of there crap attitude and there feelings of superiority over the natives.
There dealings with the Thais are diabolical, there getting around in groups and there tight arsed way of trying to save 1 baht on a 5 baht transaction shits me to death.
In other words. Fok them bro.
Cheers and have a nice day.
their dealings with the thai sound like fair play to me.There dealings with the Thais are diabolical, there getting around in groups and there tight arsed way of trying to save 1 baht on a 5 baht transaction shits me to death.
thais dislike them because, unlike the dumb falang who is so easily fooled and parted from their cash, the israelis are not stupid enough to be fooled by the constant and pathetic scamming that thais working in the tourist industry are famed for.
the thais just dont like it up'em.
with thais taking every advantage possible of tourists by overcharging them, double pricing them, scamming them, cheating them and looking down on them, its good to see at least one group not being intimidated by the constant self pitying spiel that the thais come up with to justify their prices and scams.
the israelis have every right to feel superior to the average lowlife lying cheating scamming thai tourist operative.

I'm hearing what you say Tax but unfortunately I can not agree as I feel its a tad unfair to caste all Thais in that light.
Away from the major tourist spots the Thais are a fairly good lot and I've met many over the years who have done me a good deed but fair crack, the ones inhabiting heavily touristed areas leave a lot to be desired.
But in reality they deal day in day out with the real dregs of humanity especially in places like Pattaya where they encounter the worlds scum seeking sex with any thing that moves. Its no wonder they don't give a fuk anymore.
But we digress, in my early Back Packing days I uncounted so many young Israeli arseholes getting around that it made me realize why they are universally despised. Real foking loud mouthed tight fisted pigs and not to be associated with the average traveler.
Sort of bangs it home when that dumb fuk thinks he's that superior he can walk down Soi Bangla smoking a joint.
Fuk em all Tax, there all yours bro and give me the Thais any day.
