WARNING: The stills from this video may offend - and they should. They show a two-year-old run over twice and left for dead as nearly 20 passers-by ignore the child lying prone on the street.
Chinese toddler Yueyue, 2, was dawdling up a quiet lane in Guangdong Province when she was hit by a white van. The driver halts, and then continues on his way, crushing her for a second time.
Even more shockingly, the youngster - clearly suffering life-threatening injuries and in need of urgent assistance - is callously ignored by the next 18 passers-by in the city of Foshan.

Some passers-by, including pedestrians, cyclists and even a mother, even alter their course to avoid the stricken toddler, who lies there helpless bleeding to death.
Yueyue is later struck for a second time, by a larger van, and again is completely ignored.
Eventually a woman comes to little Yueyue's aid, calling for help and raising the alarm of the child's mum before she was taken to hospital.
The tot is in critical condition with major head injuries and is breathing with the aid of a ventilator, the Daily Telegraph reports.

The incident has left millions around China and the world shocked, prompting the child's stunned father to lash out on national television.
"What’s up with people these days? They make so many excuses to turn a blind eye," he said.
"The society is so indifferent, so heartless.
"I don’t have any thoughts now, I just hope my child will wake up and call me Dad again."
