Agreed, but a 2 year old child lying bleeding to death right in front of you?
Anyone with a heart and soul would help and fuck the cost.
I'm afraid if it comes down to helping out someone else's injured child against feeding your family for a month, it's a pretty shit choice don't you think? You don't know the circumstances of the people that chose not to get involved, so I wouldn't necessarily judge them without the facts.
That's what happens when you have private medicine, the poor cannot afford it, and they damned sure can't afford to pay for it for strangers.
It's the system that's fucked.
In Britain and many other countries, ANYONE could have taken this child straight to a hospital without a worry.
That's what you should be angry about, and if you aren't, stop fucking whining about it.
Let's say, for example, you have a family and a mortgage and you earn 30 grand a year. And let's say, for the sake of argument, taking this sick kid to hospital would cost you a year's salary?
Would you still do it?
I very much fucking doubt it.
