Beer Bars destroyed by Fire close to Walking Street, South Pattaya

Just after 8am on Thursday, 6 Pattaya Fire Trucks were sent to Soi 16 off Walking Street to deal with a fire at a block of Beer Bars, which had closed some hours earlier.

Fire Fighters arrived and took 30 minutes to bring the fire under control. It is thought the fire started at the Cool Bay Beer Bar owned by Mr. Barbuk aged 36 from the middle-east. He confirmed the bar shut at 2am and he was called back to the Bar later in the morning after the fire began.

Fire Investigators have not confirmed the exact cause of the fire but believe it to be an electrical short circuit on the main fuse board.

Damage has been estimated at between 500,000 and 1,000,000 Baht.
