^Does knowing one a few years ago count?
There are prostitutes on Pattaya Soi 6!? Appaling!
What are these "prostitutes" you guys keep mentioning... I do now know what this is.
Just as the George Washington sails out.
The girls and bar owner must be well loaded from the past few days. Easy pickings.
how many years? in all fairness 20 years ago would make it difficult for the judges to confirmOriginally Posted by dirtydog
None of the many girls I had on soi 6 were prostitutes...!
"I see no prostitutes" was the statement of politician and supposed 'women's rights' advocate Paveena Hongsakul when she was let out of her ivory tower and led around Pattaya a few years ago.
I'm planning an excursion to Sodom By The Sea this afternoon on a similar fact-finding mission.
I'm just so proud of our "Boys in Brown" ! - it makes me quite teary when I read this!
How hard they must have worked to find prostitutes in Soi 6?
yep someone forgot to pay, what a circus show
and the press was there, conveniently
that's a strange name. What nationality is she?and the business owner, Mrs. Utaiwan Krigard
Yeps some one refused/forgot to pay or a Policeman have his eyes on the establishment for himself, know quite a few Police/Wife owners of similar entertainment venues in Pattaya, strangely they never get raided and can stay open 24/7 playing music as loud as they want ect.
Oh yeah and by the way the Police volunteer is not a snitch, technically it is a Police officer working under cover (not that I understand they will in this country), citizens reporting crime are not snitches either, a snitch is another criminal telling on his shit mates. Got that guy's

Have I got this right? You suggest that the raid was carried out because the police weren't paid off, know several police/wife owners of establishments that aren't raided because presumably they are protected, accept this, but then get upset because a foreigner volunteering to work with these lowlifes is called a snitch?
or did I miss an attempt at sarcasm?
yea !!! just like telling fat bastard coppers where yer cowardly drunken mates have run off to after HIGH speed police pursuits, hey mateOriginally Posted by larvidchr
No, and not upset at all, in fact I really don't care, but always best to give things their right name.
Well I guess after you left your Aussie Mate high and dry on foot (which was not all that polite, but I guess it was a involuntary reflex reaction like sneezing)) and the fat bastard copper kept bugging him he got confused and was just speed talking to avoid us getting into more trouble, lucky for you I came by just at the right time and told him we had no idea where you had gone, and had to give him your phone number instead so he could call you and shout at you in Thai, after that he let us go, but then nothing stayed dry for long but you know that you old bastard fugitive we almost drowned, taking the seriousness of the hideous crime into consideration I'm suprised you haven't reached the most wanted list yet

Police Continue Crackdown on ‘Short-time’ Premises in Pattaya
October 10, 2010
Crime Suppression Police raided another ‘short-time’ bar in North Pattaya on Saturday night. Following this week’s raid on the Mandarin Bar in Soi 6, officers instigated a similar investigation on the nearby Soho Bar.
Pattaya, the 9th of October 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 11:00pm on Saturday, Lieutenant Colonel Choosak Kaytong (Crime Suppression Special Unit officer) and his team conducted a sting operation at the Soho Bar (A-Go-Go) on Soi 6, off Pattaya Beach Road.
In similar circumstances to Thursday’s raid on the Mandarin Bar, officers using a foreign national as an undercover agent infiltrated the Soho Bar, after reports surfaced that the establishment may be offering prostitution services by way of ‘short-time’ rooms located above the main bar.
Following the setup, whereby the undercover agent requested and paid for the use of the aforementioned sexual services, officers raided the premises and arrested eight women, including the bar manager, Mrs. Pornsawan Iammala [33].
The seven arrested staff/Go-Go dancers were found to be all under 20-years-of-age, while Mrs. Iammala reluctantly confessed to being the owner and manager of the establishment. Police investigating the incident were reluctant to provide the media with any information pertaining to evidence confiscated in the raid other than the information of those arrested.
The seven employees of the establishment have been charged with ‘prostitution and/or aiding in the prostitution of others’, while Mrs Iammala has been charged with being the ‘owner/manager of an illegal prostitution business’.
Editor’s Note: As with the case of the Mandarin Bar earlier this week, the officers involved in the raid are part of the Bangkok – Crime Suppression Special Unit – Police. This may constitute a show of force by the unit undermining local authorities and/or promoting the new commander of the national division. High-ranking Royal Thai Police officers are rotated in their positions on a yearly basis (every October), including divisional heads.

I think the main problem is not the services offered, but the fact that the bar had rooms above for business
or is that normal in Pattaya?
^ every bar in Yodsak has them!
Strange, perhaps the new boss wants them, to close down all short time rooms.
