A Star Trek geek would know that wearing a red shirt is a really bad idea.

Unless you are an officer with the technical departments.
Scotty and Uhura survived all 3 seasons to go on and make movies.

Will the current red shirt " officers" follow suit in kind?

(I miss Star Trek. Really, really super good show.)

it's acceptable because it's part of their culture, they are not going to change to please you. I don't make the rules and this is how it is. You take it or leave it.
Not a good way to introduce progress, " Leave it" .
I prefer to agitate as much as legally possible and my actions along with others do change things.

At one time it was acceptable to burn people alive, or tie their limbs to horses and pull them apart.
Or more recently it was acceptable for children to work 14 hours days or abuse them sexually, but people rallied and agitated and now it's not.
Things change but not because they are " left alone" .

Why would you believe you can't contribute to change?

And why would you try to dissuade me from trying?

I agree the left is more prone to resisting violence. Do you not support that too?

I certainly hope I don't, you are perfectly entitled to your dreams, however the more dreamers, the worst it will get.

that wasn't what I was questioning here. The patronizing BS for every violent action is just not giving any credibility to the left when they are crying wolf for everything. In the case of this conflict, the reds supporters are really on guilty side, so the lefts coming out with patronizing BS is really not making any sense, worse, it's showing a certain disconnect with the world and reality. The left needs be real, not about hippie dreamers no matter how nice and peaceful they might be.

    ^^ BF

But you're stating your opinion , that the " reds" are in the wrong entirely- as a fact. Many disagree and feel the government sending in snipers is what's wrong .

I don't deny children are still abused or horrid deaths still occur , only that such things are no longer considered acceptable to most in world today.
The acceptance of wrongdoing has changed- due to agitators, " dreamers" who dare protest for a better place.

Nothing Hollywood about it. Those who fight what they perceive as wrong go way back before movies or Disneyland.

We'd still believe ourselves to be living on a flat earth with a sun revolving around us if it weren't for such people who dared to challenge the establishment.
