Intelligence organs have warned of an assassination plot against Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, which is why he had to take cover inside the 11th Infantry Regiment base, PM's Office Minister Satit Wongnongtaey said yesterday.

Not sure if I buy that. I doubt there are many people worldwide, let alone in Thailand, who believes he's anything other than a puppet. What's the point of assassinating a puppet? He'll just be replaced.

Shouldn't this be in the Jokes section of the board?
