What i find sad is that he must have been lonely with no friends if no one bothered to check for 3 days. Or maybe he just had fairweather Pattaya 'friends'.

sad news RIP. the publishing of the pictures of his corpse on the news ,i find revolting.zero respect for him and his familly.
Poor old bugger. I didnt like the photos either, no foul play and unnecessary, even for a news item. Still at least he played out his last years in Pattaya, instead of a cold flat in Glasgow.
Its not Doodles is it ?
If it was a heart attack I hope it was quick and relatively painless
That's a hell of a detailed guess....I guess as an instrument/electrical supervisor in the rig construction business

So, if by 'Doodles' you were referring to me, then no.
Of course it's demeaning to show such photos. If we need to be reminded of our mortality, then show the funeral photos. Showing photos of a naked corpse is totally lacking in dignity and clearly disrespectful for the departed.
Not only that, Bob, but the farang media aren't shy about posting pics and personal details soon after a death and before relatives in farangland have been informed.
I wouldn't like to make such a discovery whilst watching TV.

Pobly the reason thay show such pix sometimes, as in this one, how were they to know he was a Scot, he had no pants or Kilt on so maybe thats why.
They must have found his Tartan Kilt in the closet.
Showing photos such as this serves absolutely no purpose other than to sensationalise a tragic circumstance. If media editors have to resort to this practise to sell either printed or electronically formed news, they are indeed scraping the barrel, and is neither ethically or morally correct.
However, if a point is to be served, maybe some (accept this comment in the spirit that it's made, and not applicable to everyone) readers will reflect on their own circumstances, and if in doubt about their health or lifestyle, will maybe take from this tragedy a 'wake up' call. Friends (real), maintaining regular contact with family, establishing a life where somebody is going to miss you is important. The thought of lying in a state of rigor mortis for several days until some stranger, through nothing more than either a complaint about the smell coming from the room or a planned cleaning day, finds you, isn't one where I'm sure any of us wants to be.
What is all the liquid & gunge on the floor surrounding the deceased?
He's been dead for a while. What do you reckon?Originally Posted by watterinja

Plus that if he was in decay then juices do come out of you, but he doesn't appear to be to bloated, but the pix are blurred a lot too.
But I didn't think Rigor lasted that long either.
That's what I was wondering . . . how do these guys get into the location? And why do the cops let them take photos (rhetorical)Originally Posted by tayto
Why does he have a poster of himself on the wall of his bedroom?
That's just it, isn't it? What is left behind isn't important in some cultures. With Christianity we are preserved, buried under a monument to survive ages and laid in a cozy coffin in our best clothes. With Buddhism we are burned on a funeral pyre. I'm going with the second choice.
