    Koh Larn - Moroccan Tourist dies following motorbike accident

    Moroccan Tourist dies following motorbike accident on Larn Island.


    Pattaya, July 21 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : On Tuesday Afternoon, Tourist Police based on Larn Island were notified of a motorbike accident which resulted in the death of a Moroccan Tourist. The victim and passenger came off their rented motorbike on a sharp curve high in the hills. Miss Salah Blabassi aged 22 was the passenger on the bike and sustained only superficial injuries. Mr. Aolil Jaridi aged 36, the driver of the bike was killed after he hit his head on the road. Both were transferred to the Bali Hai Port where Pattaya Police took over the case. The incident was recorded as an accident with no suspicion of foul play. Moroccan Embassy Officials from Bangkok were contacted and are now assisting with the repatriation of Miss Blabassi and the body of her fiancé Mr. Jaridi.

    the driver of the bike was killed after he hit his head on the road.
    I'll be presumptuous and guess he wasn't wearing a helmet.

    That was clever of him.

    Even if he was wearing the helmet provided with the bike which he may well have been the outcome could've been the same..

    Gotta get a full face if you wanna live...not a piece of polysterene..

    So sad but when will tourists learn motorbikes are dangerous particularly without a proper helmet

    I think everyone's aware of the risks.Folks just want a bit of fun in their lives. Otherwise you sit around doing fook all.

    There is fun and fun all I am saying is it is safer with the proper equipment as without it how much fun is he going to have now!!!
