Wait a minute....... Just a wee tad of historical revisionism in the service of agenda, pontifically reported by this damn media as fact.

UDD supporters did not come to Bangkok, "screamingly' in response to Thaksin's asset seizures by coupists. Talk about denigrating and trying to deprive these people of political space.

They came to Bangkok for that demonstration, as a culmination of anti-coup rallies all over the country, that this damn media 'blacked out'. Only recognizing it when it was in their face in Bangkok.

Not at all the way they characterize it in above quote. Coupists trying to hide their illegalities..Damn this propaganda is annoying.

And yes, the coupists painted the streets in red, attacking protesting citizens in the service of defending their power-seizure.

This was not about asset seizures, but about national power seizures by an arrogant elite, subsequently thoroughly repudiated in the election.

    Historical revisionism is intellectually corrupt.

Some more underhanded misrepresentation of the largest politrical movement in the country.

These elite idiots cannot fathom or accept that there may be political awareness and activism at play here. They cannot fathom that anyone other than them have political space.

Their opposites must be motivated by money, how else could anyone possibly object to their political self-righteousness.

Their contemptuousness and condescension speaks to their arrogant sense of self-importance.

That is why I love to see their noses rubbed in their own lack of comprehension come elections, like the last one. I love to see them on the political sidelines where they belong, muttering to themselves.

with only the likes of the PAD yellow looser nutters off here still tuned in to the dictators rants, while democracy, fronted up by the one and only thai international world statesman, Khun Thaksin, moves on a pace, openly welcomed into world democratic environments

    You can't argue with that

DSI asks court to revoke bails of nine PAD leaders
    December 25, 2013

The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) today officially asked the Criminal Court to revoke bails of nine leaders of the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) after finding their involvements in the current anti-government demonstrations.

The nine included Pipob Thongchai, Suriyasai Takasila, Anchalee Paireerat, Gen Pathompong Kesornsuk, Somkiat Pongpaibul and Samdin Lertbutr.

DSI director-general Tarit Pengdit said the DSI has asked the Court to revoke their bails after they violated the temporary release conditions that they would not involve in political protests.

But investigations showed that they did not comply with the court’s condition, thus prompted the DSI to ask the court to revoke their bails and put them back to prison.

All the nine PAD leaders faced terrorism charges when they led protesters to encircle Suvarnabhumi airport in 2008.

PAD airports trial postponed to Dec 15
    26/05/2014

The Criminal Court has postponed to Dec 15 the examination of evidence in the case against 96 People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) members indicted on various charges relating to the seizure of Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports in 2008.

The court initially set today, May 26, for examination of evidence in the case in which the 96 defendants have been indicted on terrorism and other charges related to the airports' seizue.

Defence lawyers asked the court to postpone the hearing because many of the defendants were not able to appear before the court.

Some of them had been detained by the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), some taken by the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) to report to prosecutors, some were summoned to report to the NCPO, and others including Maj-Gen Chamlong Srimuang were sick.

The court examined the request and decided to postpone the hearing to Dec 15 at 10am.
