Swedish Man dies in his South Pattaya condominium

Swedish Man dies in his South Pattaya condominium.

On Friday Morning, Police Major Somporn from Pattaya Police Station was called to the Star Beach Condo in Soi 4 off the Pratamnuk Road to investigate a foreign fatality. In room number 914, Police inspected the body of Mr. Karl Arne Jonsson aged 43 from Sweden. He was laying face-down on the bed. His distraught girlfriend of 2 years, Khun Sakseewimon aged 34 explained to Police that her Boyfriend had been suffering from a stomach upset for the last 4 days and on Thursday Night, Mr. Jonsson had drunk an excessive amount of alcohol. An inspection of the room was made and an initial inspection of the body came up with nothing that suggested the death was suspicious in any way, however the case will remain open until the results of a post mortem examination are received.

Is this name for real, bit to close to Khun sexywoman, and a name i've never heard before, not one that would be on an ID card anyway.

Terrible, this thing happens In Pattaya often. You don't hear much of Bangkok, I think the visitors there have jobs.

    ^ without a doubt.

One thing disturbs me about these deaths is that their picture and passport details are plastered in some cheap Pattaya newsrag, and subsequently on forums like TD etc etc.

Is any thought given to the victims' family beforehand or is that not relevant in Thailand.

I'm damn sure I wouldn't want it that way were I to go similarly.

Life sucks and then you die. But in Thailand life sucks and then you die and it sucks after you die too.

I think a lot of these guys here lead very unhealthy lifestyles, so an early death from natural causes is not out of the ordinary. I doubt the girl would have gained much from his death. Her name is probably a psuedonym used by the newspaper.
