Siam Bank in CM robbed with explosives

Some plain clothesed coppers came around asking about this today.

NEWS HEADLINE : Bank robber uses explosives to snatch over 100 thousand baht in Chiang Mai

Explosive Retrieval units of the 33rd Border Patrol utilized a high pressured water dispensing device to dispose of an object supposedly rigged to explode. The system however, triggered the explosive which caused an amount of commotion. The device was planted by a bank robber who placed the bomb in a bag to intimidate staff at Siam Commercial Bank before making off with over 100 thousand baht in cash.

Thaphae Gate, on Ratchadamnern Rd. In the Chiangmai News local paper it said it was a bureau-de-change and not a bank.
