Thread: Serbian Woman Arrested at Phuket Airport with Fake Passport

A female Serbian was arrested at the Phuket International Airport with a fake Italian passport.


The Phuket Immigration at the airport told the Phuket Express that this week they arrested a 27-years old female Serbian. She was arrested at the international arrival terminal in the passport.

She presented the fake Italian passport to an officer. She was taken to the Sakoo Police Station to face charges of possession or using a fake passport. She was not, however, identified by name by Immigration officials nor did the suspect release a statement to the press.

Fake passports are really difficult to make look realistic. She should have forged a genuine Italian passport instead. Although maybe that's what she actually did and the Phuket Express writers don't know the difference.

I think this kind of offence is pretty serious. If it wasn't for the typical two tier justice system where women get punished much less severely than men, she'd be for the high jump.

Also begs question whereever she boarded they failed to spot it?

Of course some havea genuine one to enter airside that is ditched/swopped in a transit lounge, impossible to know without more data which the ailines should have.

They have VoA for Serbians, no need for a fake passport unless she's already been caught and blacklisted?
