An Uzbek woman fell from a 6th-floor balcony at a hotel in Pattaya on December 7th, suffering serious injuries.
At 12:30 PM, the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Center was notified of a foreign woman falling from a balcony at a hotel in South Pattaya. Upon receiving the call, rescue workers and an ambulance rushed to the scene.
At the location, in a large area behind the hotel, scattered pieces of tiles were found on the ground. The body of Ms. Choksanam, a 25-year-old Uzbek woman, was discovered unconscious, with a head injury and a broken right leg. Rescue workers provided first aid before urgently transporting her to a local hospital.
Security guard Mr. Banleng, who witnessed the incident, reported that while on duty, he heard a loud noise. He looked up and saw the foreign woman lying on the roof of a low-rise building before rolling off and falling to the ground. He immediately contacted authorities.
Pattaya police revealed that the injured woman had been staying at the hotel with two friends on the 6th floor. Officers attempted to question them, but they were both too intoxicated to answer any inquiries at the time.
Pattaya police are still attempting to determine the cause of the fall and plan to wait for the friends of the woman to sober up.
