Mother Finds 16 Year-Old Daughter Allegedly Working at Bar in Pattaya

A mother finally found her 16 year-old who had gone missing two months prior allegedly working at a bar in Pattaya.

The Pattaya City Police Chief Colonel Nawin Teerawit told the Phuket Express that they were notified from the 42-year-old mother of the 16 years-old girl of the incident. She told police that her daughter allegedly worked at a bar in Soi Buakhao. She was afraid that her daughter might have been deceived about the nature of the work.

Police went to the bar in question where they found the mother was arguing with the bar manager and found the girl in the bar. The mother told the Pattaya News that she had been trying to look for her daughter for two months. She saw her daughter on social media working at the bar allegedly selling drinks to customers and went to the bar to confront the manager after calling police.

The 30 year-old male bar caretaker told police the girl asked to work at the bar and initially claimed the girl used a fake identification card. However, he later claimed that the girl did not start any work at the bar and was just “hanging out” there and not actually working, despite an employee time card being found for the minor. The unidentified manager was later taken to the Pattaya City Police Station.

He was charged with being an employer who hires an under 18 year old employee to work at entertainment venues, as well as using force, threatening, or allowing a child to behave inappropriately to be the cause of wrongdoing and selling alcohol to underage people.

In addition, a legal summons was issued to the real bar manager. The Pattaya News noted that all names were withheld pending further police investigation and due to the age of the minor involved.

I suppose this might be settled by the bar offering the mom considerable compensation.

i guess the girl wasn't sending money home for the "sick buffalo", that's why mom came looking for her.

ition, a legal summons was issued to the real bar manager. The Pattaya News noted that all names were withheld pending further police investigation and due to the age of the minor involved

or until the appropriate ’fines’ have been paid to the various police involved.

At 42, Mum is still younger than most Pattaya bargirls. Why doesn't she team up with her daughter to advance her professional career? The famous "Sportsman's Double" would soon make them millionaires in Pattaya.

The mom might be a calorie queen although western men are nowadays sadly very much desensitized to that issue.
