Cool Holiday Today so banks Immi etc closed, list of others this year below

Polite reminder today is a public holiday for Chulalongkorn day.

Other public hols Dec 5 and 10 and 31st
Note Christmas is never a public holiday.

A list of all public holidays for 2025 or2568 Buddhist era and handy calculators for 90 day etc on the same website.
It also shows religeous observance days

Holidays and Observances in Thailand in 2025

While I also use Google calendar for other countries here it has been known to have odd variation and I'd hate any member to have a long drive on a "dry" day to Immi etc

Also worth noting grog is banned on local natiional election days tho of course mom and pop shops usually ignore for thirsty cashed up farang up here.

Civil servants ensure they don't miss out when such events occur at weekends with the following Monday usually a "make up holiday" .

I find it handy as planning driving flying as many locals will take a long weekend and busier/ less availability.
Of course if International need check both ends as when buying trout etc

Oddly the Mosquitoes never rest, blessings to all, may the toad rise up to meet you.

Unfortunately, your typically garbled delivery is at risk of causing confusion here.

As you know, but some readers may not, alcohol sales between 11-2 and 5-12 are not banned today.

Thank you for prompt clarification I realize how grog is so important to some, I believe I wrote on election days , the concept was for wise decisions which your guidance can only enhance, you are nearest we have to an Illuminati this wreck of the woulds.

It's not just election days or holidays when grog is banned though is it.

The recent 'Ok Pansaa' is an example.

And to post of a dry day at immi today is obviously confusing.

Doubtless your heart is in the right place, but making public service announcements is just not your calling.
