Pattaya Music Festival Rocks March 2024

March 2024 is set to be an electrifying month in Pattaya, despite the absence of public holidays, as the Pattaya Music Festival gears up to deliver an exceptional lineup of musical talent. This eagerly anticipated event, a collaborative effort between Pattaya City and the Chonburi Provincial Administration Organization, seeks to promote Pattaya as a leading music city in Thailand. Free to the public and starting at 5 pm every Friday and Saturday throughout March from the 8th, the festival will feature over 50 top artists performing on various stages across the city.

Designed to not only entertain but also to showcase the scenic beauty of Pattaya's beaches, the festival is expected to boost tourism and invigorate the local economy. The event promises a diverse array of musical acts ranging from emerging talents to established stars, ensuring a rich and varied musical experience for all attendees. The performances are spread across multiple venues, including the main stage at Central Pattaya, secondary stages at North Pattaya, and unique locations like Jomtien Beach and Lanpho Nakluea Park.

The opening weekend boasts a mix of genres, with artists like Sarah Salola and POLYCAT gracing the main stage, while other stages will host acts such as Khana KwanJai and Whal & Dolph. The momentum continues with subsequent weekends featuring high-profile names such as BIG ASS, Paradox, and indie favorites, including The Toys and Safeplanet.

The final weekend ramps up the excitement with performances from artists like MEYOU and Purpeech, alongside a special lineup on the Ko Lan stage, highlighting the festival's commitment to delivering a comprehensive musical experience.

Christ, just how many more spurious events do we fucking need. Only Thai youngsters would walk across the road to view that lineup and they don’t spend fuck all except on cheap Thai booze and weed.
The concept of simply going to a resort to take in the sea air, eat some seafood and just fucking relax is beyond the money grubbing Thai whose only cultural interest is making a profit.
Remember when the FPG Prayuth came back from a European trip and said their beaches were no good because the only thing you could do was to lie on them and swim, and proclaimed them very boring.

    Fucking children, really.

You hypocritical and miserable old fucker.

Not many posts ago you were waxing lyrical about your visits to UK festivals during your youth, (although it is hard to believe you ever had a youth, one suspects you were born a fully formed malcontented curmudgeon ) where you headbanged your way to nirvana in between bouts of drug peddling and ogling the "chicks"

Oh silly, they wouldn't go to a shithole like Pattaya for that.

    Don't be silly, Tax.

I went to the Bath Blues Festival in 1970 and the Glastonbury Festival 1971 during which I saw the crème de la crème of rock music e.g Steppenwolf, Canned Heat, Johnny Winter, Pink Floyd, Arthur Brown, Free and many, many more, most of the time under the influence of some excellent acid and Afghan Black.Too tricky selling dope at festivals then, plain clothes cops wandering around much of the time. Worst thing was the lack of food. In dem days it was macrobiotic pulses given free by the Hare Khrishna lot but mostly inedible.

Real music, genuine festivals, not this drivel in this stupid country.

And a fair bit of cavorting by naked wimmin getting into the zone.

Why don't you take up shuffle board or something.

I spent my money on cheap beer instead of booze when going to a concert. I can't smoke weed, but my girlfriend (later wife) at the time made up for my shortcomings.

Wonderful stuff, the sledgehammer. A big fat stoobie, hot rats turned up to 11 and a mug of tea and some waggon wheels. Kids today dont know what they're missing.

I think the traditional pastime for curmudgeonly pensioners who want to get together and whine about the price of Tetley teabags and how youngsters have no dress sense is Lawn Bowls.

Probably with tax it's another part of this morning's 'pen portrait' of himself.

Keep your speed down on the scooter after those gin & tonics, eh tax.

Racing against your missus is uncouth.

When it comes to teak door posters cyrille, you are very much like the baggies, 2nd div. through and through. a benchwarmer

Prone to injuries and known for clumsy fouls, never quite hitting the big time. May get called up for the last few minutes of extra time, but only if the game has already been decided, a hapless old benchwarmer, at home in the dugout with the under 21s. has big ideas about a new career in punditry, but the phone call never comes.
