Heavy Rainfall Across All Regions in Thailand is Expected Over Next Several Days

The Meteorological Department of Thailand announced that a tropical storm is gradually weakening but still producing heavy to very heavy rains. It is expected to pass over Thailand in the coming days, from September 26th to September 29th, 2023.

At 01:00 AM, September 26th, 2023, a Tropical Depression has weakened and was significantly approaching low pressure in the Da Nang region, Vietnam. It is expected to follow the northeast monsoon trough passing through the upper part of Thailand from September 26th to September 29th, 2023. It will result in heavy rainfall in several areas, including the northern, northeastern, central, Bangkok, eastern, and southern regions of Thailand.

Residents in these areas should be cautious of potential hazards such as heavy to very heavy rainfall and strong gusty winds, which may lead to flash floods and landslides, especially in hilly and low-lying areas.

It is also recommended to exercise caution while traveling through regions with thunderstorms and to avoid open fields, large trees, and weak advertising billboards.

I'm concerned about the caravan in my garden. I didn't have one yesterday.

My rubber-tapper in-laws report it’s daily afternoon thunderstorms in the mid-south. High temps are a not unpleasant 30°-32°.
