Intoxicated British Man Arrested After Damaging a Local Resident’s Home on Lanta

An intoxicated British man was arrested after he got angry and threw a rock at a local’s home on Lanta Island, Krabi because he lost his mobile phone.

Ms. Kanotha, last name withheld, 20, filed a report to the Koh Lanta Police along with video evidence. She told the police that at 2:30 A.M. this week an intoxicated foreign man threw a rock into a glass door at her house in the Sala Dan sub-district. The door was broken and the foreign man walked away. She said she did not know the foreign man and had never had any issue with him before.

The Koh Lanta Police told the Phuket Express that a British man, aged 30 was arrested after the incident. He had rented a motorbike in Mueang Krabi. He admitted to police that he was intoxicated and said he was angry that he had lost his mobile phone.

He agreed to pay for the damages in which the house owner said would cost 30,000 Baht to repair the glass door.

The name of the suspect was withheld in return for him agreeing to the financial settlement, said Koh Lanta police.

A fine example of the British travelling public: a petulant, self absorbed, intemperate, stupid fuckwit, no doubt tattooed and sporting the latest tonsorial absurdity, indulging in his favourite pastime of drunkenness, resorts to violence and destruction in order to express himself.

Trash is indeed everywhere in the world.

Was that word really necessary? I thought that was generally understood.
