Authorities have yet to reveal the results of drugs and alcohol tests. A Bali official told the Daily Mail that Tuschinski has been hospitalized for physical and psychological screening. Apparently, staff at the Saraswati Ubud Temple cleansed the area after the naked disruption to get rid of the “bad energy,” the Daily Mail reported.

The Saraswati Royal Household of Tjokorda Ngurah Suyadnya (Cok Wah) was hosting one of its regular public Balinese cultural evenings for foreign tourists, replete with a full gamelan orchestra and a troupe of local dancers when the German woman took to the stage in a fully naked state.

The incident was confirmed by Police Commissioner Satake Bayu Setianto, spokesman for the Bali Provincial Police.

Earlier, the deranged woman had forced her way past a ticket booth at the event entrance before entering the palace grounds and removing all her clothing items.

Police took the German woman into custody, later surrendering her to the care of Bangli Insane Asylum (RSJ-Bangli) in northeast Bali. Preliminary examination by the medical staff revealed Tuchinski may be suffering from mental illness and clinical depression.

Separately, Kompas.com reports that the German had frequently changed private villas in Ubud without paying her accommodation bill. Villa operators said the woman would nakedly cavort around the villa premises, disturbing other guests.

I think it painfully obvious the poor woman is mentally afflicted but it’s quite surprising the sheer number of dickheads commenting on the various media sites to whom the idea didn’t occur.

Ah well, just more evidence the greatest social driver of the past decade has been stupidity, and remains so.
