Four Chinese Fugitives Arrested in Bangkok

Bangkok Police apprehended four Chinese fugitives wanted by Chinese authorities for several criminal charges.

Today, May 23rd, police officers arrested Mr. Zhao (alias), a 35-year-old Chinese national at a luxurious condominium in the Rama 9 area within Huai Khwang district, Bangkok.

Zhao was a key wanted individual sought by Chinese authorities for an alleged chain investment fraud. The total amount of deceived investments exceeded 150 billion baht, according to police.

It was also found that Zhao’s temporary residence permit in Thailand had been revoked. He was subsequently handed over to the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) for further legal proceedings.

On a separate case, immigration officers in Bangkok arrested three Chinese individuals namely Mr. Yanfang, 35, Mr. Cheng Yi, 44, and Mr. Yuan, 45, today in the Bangkok area.

The three were wanted in China for tax evasion charges and smuggling of garbage.

The suspects’ visas have been revoked, and they are awaiting deportation to face legal action in China.

Smuggling of garbage? I didn't know that was a thing. Or is that just what the chinkies call human trafficking?

A fair whack. That's more than 4 Billion USD.

Whether it's correct or a typo, I hope he kept some to get out of jail, will likely be taken down to a cell and get a bullet in the back of the head.

Either after Chinese sentencing, or if the Thai police decide he's going to commit suicide in their police station, like that Western lad that had lambos and penthouses here.

Toxic waste disposal is a big business!

It is also a rather dirty business in more ways than one. Everyone produces waste, but nobody wants to deal with it, so illegal transportation and dumping of waste can be a very profitable business.

They probably dumped it near playgrounds, instead of transporting it to Uighur populated areas.
