Bangkok’s election candidates told to collect their campaign posters

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has told election candidates in Bangkok that they must collect any campaign posters from pavements across the city by the end of tomorrow (Friday).

Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt said today (Thursday) that, since the campaign posters belong to the candidates, it is their responsibility to collect them and other people who take them down could face legal action.

He said that the city administration had received complaints from many residents about uncollected campaign posters which are still blocking pavements and lines of sight.

Indeed. The gf was complaining about them yesterday, and she doesn't complain about much. There are hundreds of them still out there well after the deadline for their removal.
