A brand new passport office for Thai people has been set up on the 4th floor of the Central Pattaya Shopping Center.

Thai people in Pattaya can visit the office to get a passport to travel abroad from Monday to Friday between 9 AM to 5 PM, Mr. Ruj Thammongkol, director-general of the Department of Consular Affairs, said on Monday, February 6th.


The new office held a grand, official opening ceremony on Monday. The office will close on weekends as well as on special holidays.

Mr. Ruj said sufficient officials are on standby at the office to facilitate all passport-seekers. The passport office also has a high-tech, automatic passport kiosk that wll get the work done in five minutes, Mr. Ruj stated.


The office also has some legalization services which foreigners may occasionally need depending on unique individual situations, such as some legal services.
