Well-Known Fitness YouTuber Leo Rex, A.K.A. Leo and Longevity, Found Dead in Pattaya

Well-known fitness YouTuber Leo Rex, known as Leo and Longevity on Youtube, was found dead in a Pattaya home last evening, January 30th, 2023, according to Pattaya police.

According to Pattaya Police Chief Kunlachart Kunlachai, police responded to a call by other occupants of a home in Pattaya Lagoon Village, located off of Soi Kor Phai, Moo 10, at 8:30 P.M. on January 30th, 2023.

Upon arrival at the residence, police found a 34-year-old American citizen, Laith Abdullah Algaz, known as Leo Rex online, deceased in a bedroom with a private bathroom. Embassy and family members were reportedly contacted by Pattaya police.

Chief Kunlachart stated to the associated Thai press that the room appeared to have been messy and possibly ransacked and items were scattered across the bedroom and bathroom. Blood was found on the floor of the bedroom as well, he added.

Mr. Algaz was found deceased on the floor of the room wearing only a black t-shirt and no pants with dried blood seen coming from his nose and mouth, said Pattaya Police. Investigators at the scene told The Pattaya News that Mr. Algaz had been dead for about five hours.

A witness, Miss Aicha Humera Rattanaphan, 25, told Pattaya Police that other occupants of the home went to check on Mr. Algaz after he had not been seen for several hours and found his room locked and had no response to knocks or verbal calls. They used a spare key to unlock the door and found Mr. Algaz deceased and immediately called Pattaya Police.

Pattaya Police are moving the body of Mr. Algaz to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for a full autopsy and to find the exact cause of death. They cautioned for the public not to jump to any conclusions until a complete autopsy and examination was made of the deceased.

Additionally, the other occupants of the home will be brought to the Pattaya Police station for further interviews and discussion about the situation, according to Kunlachart Kunlachai.

Mr. Algaz had been a regular YouTube contributor focused on fitness and health. He had 123,000 plus followers as of press time.

It seems being a Youtuber is a hazardous occupation.

The Thaiger says the cops found: anti-depressants; bipolar disorder pills; anxiety medication; sleeping pills; anti-biotics; and steroids. Fxck, I don't take any of that shit.

Yes, but content creators need to comply with youtube's strict rules. They can cause a lot of problems for many content creators. They demonetize content really quickly.

I don't suppose the deceased had the correct visa.

If you look him up on you tube you can see he had enemies and friends who thought he was way into drugs. Seems to be evidenced by what was found in his room.

So, it seems most likely that Mr. Longevity's own cocktail of pills killed him. No doubt there are heaps of youtuber fitness gurus who take steroids.

All these Utoobers, influencers et al are a bunch 15 minute fakes - they peddle their unfounded theories on fitness, diet, beauty treatments etc and the muppets suck it up glued as they are to their devices looking for the next fad to fill their vacuous lives. Advertising standards authorities seem powerless to challenge these snake oil peddlers. Someone should start a channel following these people to see how they fare on their regimes over a few years.

A right mess. Could have been ransacked or he could just have been a slob.
One thing missing in that pic is a bedsheet. Classy.

The New York Times has had a couple of articles over the last few months about competitive body builders dying from steroids and other training practices they were doing. Even the most experienced "coaches and trainers" can kill professional level athletes. Crazy world.

Could be that the cops took the bedsheet and other stuff for forensic testing?

Hahaha. Amen to that. Almost all these YT or influencers are full of shit and what's sad is there are lemmings out there that will walk right off the cliff believing their nonsense.

    World of BS social media.

The sheet is missing because the killer used it as a rope to climb out of the window thus remain undetected.

The killer, an up and coming fitness YouTuber who was suffering from a lack views and subscriptions grew angry and resentful at the deceased views despite churning out shitty content.

The killer entered through the front door after asking to see his tech set up at approximately 4:45pm.

    In my opinion.
I'd like to see what morning looks like
Don't wanna drink pint after pint
I wanna wake up without feeling sick
    But I can't cuz I'm a drug-abusing alcoholic

I watched a few minutes of this vid & read some of the comments. It seems like aside from popping pills, Leo Longevity would also be physically violent towards his wife/ partner. I think he went to TH to take a break from his relationship and maybe be in a new envt? I couldn't watch the whole thing, very gossipy. I'd rather watch cute dog or cat vids.

And yeah, if he's a YouTuber he's probably on a tourist visa.

Ya know Katie, anyone....and I mean ANYONE, can establish a YT, TikTok, Instagram acct. No credibility required. People in general are bored. They live their lives in Tablets and Smartphones which has become the legal pyramid scam tool. They experience very little on their own.

But hey "Like", " Subscribe". you support the BS.

I always laugh when they say" The poster has XXXXX followers" What that tells me is they have XXXXX tools that believe their BS.

I'd rather have red hot needles poked in my eyes than watch those 'influencers'. Or, maybe, I'd rather watch cute dog vids. You can keep the cats though.
