Not as low as never using capital letters. That's low. Even Chico uses capital letters.

I certainly have experienced the good and bad this country offers and certainly what SA is saying is mostly not only true but fact.

On the other hand this country is a tremendous place to live if you can dodge the filthy underbelly.

As most others say you take the good with the bad and if you cannot deal with the underbelly, or better still avoid it, go back to your place of origin and handle the underbelly there.

Tax was a taxi driver and chico was an entrepreneur . . . another difference. Tax is brown and chico is very very white. Tax likes men and chico likes whatever he can pay for. Tax is in is eighties, chico is a mental toddler.

    Many differences, Nev. Many differences.

As have I mate and agree what SA says is pretty much spot on. It is a military dictatorship fraught with corruption. However, where I disagree with SA is his assertions that all Thais are a nasty bunch of ignorant fools.

They are far from it. Middle class and poor Thais only want and aspire to living a decent life and they are IMHO extremely good at it given the environment they live in.

Details of Chonburi high-ranking police officer accused of swapping crime suspects with scapegoats revealed

The Thai national police chief revealed the details of the Chonburi Provincial Police Commissioner who was charged for allegedly swapping the suspects in a pool villa shooting case with scapegoats in exchange for bribery.

National Police Chief Pol. Gen. Damrongsak Kittipra demoted the suspected Chonburi Provincial Police Commissioner Pol. Maj. Gen. Kitthanate Thanananthavisin to an inactive post pending an investigation into his involvement with a pool villa shooting case in Chonburi on October 18th.

Pol. Maj. Gen. Kitthanate was accused of swapping the shooters who were being hunted by police with scapegoats in exchange for a million baht bribe, the police chief stated.

On November 14th, Pol. Lt. Gen. Itthipol Ittisarn-ronnachai, Commander-in-Chief of the Police Region Two, appointed Pol. Maj. Gen. Nuntawut Suwanlaong, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Police Region Two, to replace Kitthanate as acting Chonburi Provincial Police Commissioner.

The suspected officer is under close monitoring at the Royal Thai Police Office.

I wonder how much the scapegoats got paid? Do you think every police station keeps a list of pliant scapegoats?

Or is there like a "Scapegoats 'r' Us" agency somewhere. Or perhaps "Budget Rent-a-Scapegoat"?
