Pattaya deputy mayor warns beach vendors of placing kites on beach

Pattaya Deputy Mayor Wuthisak Rermkijakarn forbade beach vendors from placing kites on the beach, saying the kites were damaging the beautiful scenery.

The deputy visited Pattaya Beach at 10 A.M. yesterday, September 20th, to inspect the beach and greet beachgoers and vendors from the Dusit Thani intersection down to Central Pattaya.

During the trip, Wuthisak asked for cooperation from the beach vendors to refrain from placing their stalls and kites on the beach, citing that the stalls and kites might ruin the beautiful scenery and cause disorder.

Additionally, vendors must be 1-2 meters apart, not cook on the beach, and not rent their space to others. “Vendors must comply with the rules to create a good first impression for visitors coming to enjoy the festivals,” Wuthisak told The Pattaya News.

if they want to improve the views for visitors then they could start by banning the foul mouthed ugly overweight and poorly dressed vendors who run the stalls and perhaps instruct them in basic mathematics so that they are able to add up and give customers the correct change.
