Three students murdered after road accident

Three students were shot dead and their motorcycle set on fire after a crash involving a BMW sedan in Khao Phanom district of Krabi province in the early hours of Tuesday. A 42-year-old man was later arrested after police surrounded a car tyre shop in tambon Phru Tiew in Khao Phanom.

Police and rescue workers were rushed to the scene. They found three teenage students, a boy and two girls, lying dead in the roadside grass with gunshot wounds. A burned motorcycle was on the road.

The dead boy was identified as Nonthaphan and the girls as Natnicha and Phanthira. All three were aged 18 years and were Mathayom Suksa 6 students at a high school in Khao Phanom district. Nonthaphan was shot in the face and the two schoolgirls were shot in the back. Their surnames were withheld.

Being a student seems to be quite deadly these last few weeks.

Some methed up bloke in a BMW had a coming together with a motorcycle carrying three M6 students. As a result he shot the boy in the head and both girls in the back. All dead. Shocking even by local standards.

were they his sales team that missed their target, he was under pressure from his BIB handlers to make his targets.... so many possibilities.

What is quite tedious is the ignorance of farang living in this shitty turd of a medieval country which condemns foreign transgressors to absurdly long prison sentences whilst the monkey-brained indigenous Thai fuckwits are often released from gaol prematurely and usually under circumstances that defeat any logical analysis.

Thailand is a medieval, backward third world country with no functioning rule of law.

Considering it happened in the middle of the night, they managed to get the guy pretty quickly. I doubt there were witnesses so I guess they got a tip-off from his family. Either that or he is was the biggest bad-ass in town.

Wife is always telling me to stay clear of the Mercs and BMWs zipping up and down the highway up here in NE. She says quite a few are drug runners using Hi-So cars as they are less likely to be stopped by the Police; too scared to upset some posh bugger with money.

I was commenting upon the initial report and in that context I broadened it to reference the demographic which might dispute my thesis.

in general, the thai police seem to be extremely well informed. they know exactly who is doing what, where and when.

they happily allow criminal activity to carry on unhindered up to a certain point, and when that point has been breached they call in favours in the way of information.

the street hawkers, the food sellers and especially the motorcycle taxi drivers who know everything and everybody in the sois they work give the police all the "intel" they need.

Can you post another story about a convicted murdering drug dealer executing three students because he hit them in his car?

If they'd chosen a better cellmate , could have removed this waste of space altogether

Police said Theerasak Boonruang, 42, punched another prisoner in his cell at Khao Phanom police station on Tuesday evening and banged his head on the floor, causing injuries.
Police intervened, pulled him off the other man and moved him to a single cell.
Investigators planned to continue questioning Mr Theerasak over Tuesday's deadly shooting and did not intend to take him to the murder scene for a crime re-enactment on Wednesday. They would seek court approval to detain him for another 12 days, and oppose bail.
