Q. What sort of country would shield the police, the tessabahn and the inspectors i.e. the relevant bodies entrusted with overseeing the licensing of and compliance with the building regulations relating to the construction and safety of entertainment premises and push 100% of the blame on the owner (the person who probably took out the loan) and the son (in effect an employee)
A. A shitty country with shitty people as represented by the police, the licensing authorities, the absent inspectors and the father and son who through corruption, conspired with the authorities in this, although I suspect the fathers involvement was no more than his signature on a loan agreement or chanote. the blame lies with the corrupt authorities who allowed this venue to operate knowing that it was both uninspected and unlicensed, but it is the son who will probably be punished.
And only the stupid would be unaware of the risks involved when cheap chickenhead electricians and builders are employed to install the wiring and the sound deadening foam. That such foam can even be imported and sold by builders merchants is a crime in itself.
the chimp
and whilst we are on the subject of ignorance and stupidity do learn to spell before using such long words you pathetic mong.Que Statler and Waldorf
Thai, especially Thai-Chinks, are very much but not all in the way of West Africans, if they are telling the truth, their heads fall off.
The keystone cops and other authorities acting out the preliminary charade that they accepted the son was the owner of the unlicensed, illegal death-trap night club masquerading as a fucking restaurant , and their laughably idiotic claims to have been ignorant of its illegality, are of course simply just more daily reminders of the Thai cultural propensity for systemic deceit.
Shitty people, shitty country.

A loathsome society riddled with a hypocrisy that disguises its corruption and illegality under the pretence of decency, kindness and respect.
Nauseating, truly nauseating.
^Here you go sausages, you can escape this hell-hole tomorrow for greener pastures! I'm assuming Benidorm as the next destination where you'll hate the locals and the feeling will be mutual, so I've checked flights to nearby Alicante and there's seats available (economy class travel of course and not on Thai Air, which you don't travel on, much to their delight I'm sure ).
There's a stopover in London so should you decide to give England another go, the option to disembark is there. Bon voyage and good luck in you new life

Families of Mountain B club fire victims urge DSI to look into case as they claim little progress made
Families of the Mountain B nightclub fire victims gathered to petition the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) to look into the case, as they were reportedly dissatisfied with the progress of the investigation.
The gathering of the mourning families accompanied by a famous lawyer, Ronnarong Kaewpetch, took place Monday morning, September 12th, in front of the DSI Operation Center Region 2 in Sattahip district to call for justice for their departed or injured loved ones who had fallen victim to the Mountain B club inferno that killed 23 people as of September 12th.
The lawyer filed a petition to the DSI asking for a special investigation into possible bribery that he claimed may have been exchanged between the suspects and state officials or police to let the pub operate without a proper license.
Ronnarong said: “Even though Sia B and Somyot, the announced club owners, are already in the justice system, the victims’ families are still concerned that this case will end up like the Santika pub fire, in which no state officials or police were held accountable.”
The older sister of a cashier who died inside the pub said she was given 50,000 baht for funeral arrangements and another 50,000 baht in compensation, but she has not received a word from the suspects ever since.
Meanwhile, the elderly father of Thanakrit Neenoi, another deceased victim and a breadwinner for the family, revealed that there had been no progress in the investigation and that police had only summoned a small number of witnesses for questioning.
The family urged the relevant authorities to show more effort in solving the case and giving them justice.
The petition letter was received by Wirat Kullavanich, a special case investigation officer at the DSI Operation Center Region 2, who promised to summon the suspects for another interrogation.
