I agree with your sentiment. It should be legal but restricted like booze. THC levels should be minimised to avoid the type of psychosis we see in the west.

Sadly no they have not. There is no plan and no ideas other than money. The dinosaurs simply dont have a clue. They are not nearly as far along as you presume.

Marijuana busts are still going on daily. A big hydroponic farm up in Pai was just busted, and a Brit on Samui went down for growing as well. He was selling on LINE and now they are going after those people.

Gov probably but privately from what I know, many people are getting prepared and are getting advice from the already many stealth growers in Thailand.

I wouldn't grow or deal here, that's just asking for trouble. In reality though, if you get busted you just haven't been paying the right people or haven't been paying at all.

Well then this quote from todays "legalization" news should make you happy.

    Anutin looks to delist pot

However, he said growers are still required to seek permission if they make cannabis products or make cannabis extracts which must have less than 0.2% of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) by weight.

That would not even give a buzz to an ant.

What would be the point. Unless you are growing for CBD?

Yeah exactly, it's a smile closely followed by a kick in the balls. Let's see what happens but at least it is progress.

A more valuable health move would be to ban alcohol and replace it with weed.
