So once he has lost all his money he thinks (probably a stretch) I will go and rob the farang he'll have money.

He gets his gun and gets into the farang's house by climbing over the wall. He is confronted by the farang who seeing the guy is drunk takes a calculated risk and goes for it, the gun that is.
The gun goes off missing both but the farang is able to overpower the Thai guy who drunk and worn out from climbing the fence doesn't put up much of a fight. The farang gains the upper hand and taking no chances gives the Thai guy a flogging then ties him up. He then takes the gun and disposes of it so it can't be used against him in the future by throwing it his pond.

He wakes his missus up, hard to believe she would sleep through a gunshot but Thais do like to sleep, and gets her to call the Pu Yai and the cops.

Meanwhile the Thai guy is struggling to breathe as he is hogtied on the ground and being drunk he either pukes and chokes or has a heart seizure and dies.
