Assisting to Maintain the Massacres and Grip on Power -

Rice and assorted food stuffs are just the surface - shouldn't surprise as to the level and resources that one neighboring Junta offers it's brethren.
    Hush hush.....

Historically, it's been well known of the admiration/respect of the decades long Burma regime emanating within the realms of the Thai elite.
    Today's times are no different.

As ASEAN stands idle while the blatant massacres continue on.

Mmm, given there is only a thin veneer of legitimacy with the Thai government/military that would not surprise me.

Since the cry 'Don't interfere with our internal affairs' is heard from just about every ruling party in the region, it would be oddly jarring if ASEAN were ever to do anything but stand idle.

I'd be surprised if there were one single SE Asian who ever expects it to do otherwise.

(I'm pretty sure nobody counts you as one, hl ).

Since every single one of these fuckers has ordered people shot for daring to disagree with them, of course they aren't going to do anything.

If they said it was wrong for military and other dictators to deny their countrymen free and fair elections, every last one of them would have to fuck off.

One hopes these abominable traits stay within Asia. We wouldn't want it to spread elsewhere.

The chinkies and russians seem quite happy cheering the Junta scum on while women and children are getting shot and killed. About time the west did more than make disapproving noises.
