Thread: Fizzy mineral water draws hundreds of people

Hundreds of people have traveled to Tambon Huay Krachao in Huay Krachao District of Kanchanaburi Province to drink fizzy mineral water from a well that was accidentally found by a local citizen.


Artesian Water Resources Department Director-General Sakda Wichiansin will travel to the province today (Feb 24, 2021) to inspect the artesian well.


Local citizens and visitors can now taste the filtered mineral water from paper cups.


The mineral water will later be bottled for wider distribution.

I remember reading this article in the Phuket Gazette (sadly no longer there) about a "babbling brook" that appeared in someone's garden. Everyone flocked to the house to drink it for good luck on their way to buy lottery tickets.

Then the municipality or whatever turned up to fix the broken sewer line....
