Stressful director brandishes gun in front of teachers and students

Students and teachers at a school in the southern Thai province of Songkhla ran away in panic this morning (Feb 4, 2021) after the school director in Thepa District of the southern Thai province of Songkhla pulled out a gun in front of them.

According to the Thai-language daily Khao Sod, the director pulled out the pistol after finishing a speech in front of teachers and students at the end of the Royal Anthem.

“I will make it better than the other directors,” he reportedly said, as the teachers and students ran away in panic.

After the director calmed down, teachers called parents of the students to take them home.

A teacher close to the director told Khao Sod that his boss became stressful over personal problems.

Thai principal pulls out gun at school assembly amid sexual abuse allegation

A principal at a school in Southern Thailand pulled out a gun at a morning flag assembly after a criminal complaint was filed with police claiming that he had a sexual relationship with a student.

The principal at Thepha School in Songkhla, Sayan Chaleephol, was discussing the school’s budget at the assembly, but then changed the subject and started asking the students for forgiveness. He put down the microphone and then moved his blazer, reaching for a gun tucked in the waistband of his pants. It appeared that he was going to hurt himself rather than the students.

One student screamed “No! No! No!” Hundreds of students quickly fled the area when they saw the gun. After the incident, teachers immediately arranged for students to be picked up from school.

Sayan allegedly had sex with a Mathayom 3 (ninth grade) student. The girl’s parents filed a complaint with Thepha police on charges of sex with a minor. Police say the girl will go in for a medical examination.

He clearly failed . . . and having sex with a 13/14 year old girl can hardly be describes as having a "sexual relationship''.

School director accused of rape now also faces firearms charge

SONGKHLA: A school director facing an allegation of raping a girl student now also faces a firearms charge for allegedly pulling out a gun after apologising publicly during morning assembly.

Sayan Chaleephol, 60, director of Thepha School in Thepha district, has also been transferred to Education Office Zone 16 to allow further investigation, reports the Bangkok Post.

Pol Col Thammarat Phetnongchum, the Thepha police chief, said on Friday (Feb 5) that investigators were now handling two cases against the accused school director - the alleged rape of a girl student, and carrying a firearm in public.

The mother of the Mathayom Suksa 3 student filed a complaint with police, acccusing Mr Sayan of rape and depriving a child of parental protection.

The mother had provided some evidence to back her charges, he said. Her daughter had been referred to Thepha Hospital for a medical examination, and psychologists and child welfare officials would be present when she was questioned by police.

If the evidence justified it, the director would be summonsed to hear the charges, Pol Col Thammarat said.

Meanwhile, officers would question witnesses to the gun incident.

He said the gun was registered, but Mr Sayan was at fault for carrying it in public.

Investigators would prepare their case, then he would be called in to hear the additional firearms charge, Pol Col Thammarat said.

On Thursday, in front of hundreds of students and their teachers, Mr Sayan suddenly flashed a gun after addressing the assembly during morning flag raising.

He had first talked about school management and then changed topic, apologising to everyone for his “personal problem”.

He said, “I have already made my apology to them, and will make this louder than they did.’” He did not mention names or details.

According to reports, he then unbuttoned his suit jacket and pulled a pistol from his waist, sending students and teachers into shock and panic. As the students fled, some teachers intervened to prevent Mr Sayan from his seeming intention of committing suicide.

Classes were then suspended for the rest of the week and parents called to take their children home. The school gates were closed and outsiders refused entry.

Media reported that Mr Sayan went to Thepha police station by van after the incident and handed the pistol over to police.

Officers found the gun was registered, but asked him to supply documents to confirm ownership. He then left the police station.

Banchop Phisutthipan, deputy school director, said media reports Mr Sayan had pulled out his gun were incorrect. Mr Sayan only unbuttoned his jacket, and that revealed the gun.

Media reported that investigators questioned the student’s father on Friday, and that the mother had handed police copies of chat messages between the director and her daughter.

Officials from the Songkhla Dhamrongtham centre and other agencies also visited the student’s home to offer help.

This wretched society is just so fucked in so many ways it will never ever modernise.

Some poor peasant up north treks into the boonies and comes across a fallen teak tree and hauls what he can home whereupon he's arrested and detained without bail.

This crazy fucker has illegal sex with a child in his school and throws a tantrum before the entire assembly flaunting a loaded revolver in order to intimidate staff and children and he's out on bail and transferred to another district.

    Creepy society indeed.

.... and yet so many westerners, as evident from the comments on this forum and others, whose only purpose in life seems to be harping on and on and on about how terrible life is in the usa, or the uk what with its trumpism, borisism, oppression of minorities and of course brexit will quite happily relocate to a country where corruption, inequality, oppression, misogynism, racism, dictatorship and nepotism are 100 times worse and hardly blink an eyelid at the hypocrisy they display.

He hasn't been transferred to another district. He has been transferred to the local education office - Education Office Zone 16. The same zone as the school is in.

It's cheaper, you silly old man, it's cheaper.

A previously successful and largely contented Britain that happily nestled within the EU, a bloc guided by a fine rule of law arbitrated by perhaps the world's best judicial authority with an unfettered freedom of movement to settle and travel, is now rapidly becoming but a memory as the Engerlish descend into bigotry, cronyism, xenophobic jingoism and corruption. What was perhaps the best fallback option for any expat seeking an alternative home is now really little more than an ersatz hillbilly impression of a republican southern state governed by porkbarrel politics pandering to the stupid and ignorant.

As I predicted, NI will become a battleground again and the Tory Engerlish Brexit scum manipulating their plantation orphan bigots will be responsible but in truth Brxit has tainted the entire country and its disintegration is an inevitability as indeed is the fall in standards as we are now seeing in the rampant corruption of Tory governance.

The world has become a piece of shit Tax and there it is. This loathsome society here had a veneer of hedonistic pleasure giving it a charming and engaging patina that appealed to us all as we shared in its attractions but in the past two decades a graceful and relatively joyful people who accepted the vicissitudes of their lives content in the knowledge that they all shared in the prospect that fun was just round the corner in some way or other have morphed into a neurotic society enslaved by their indebtedness and utterly subservient to a dictatorial establishment against whom no protest is permitted. The compensations that were a draw have evaporated, the Thai are growing up and as they struggle for equality it will eventually dawn on them conflict is unavoidable and as we all know blaming foreigners for the consequences will be a feature just as the lower end lumpen Engerlish dross blamed the EU for their post 2008 failings.

Frankly, Tax, only a fucking idiot would be complacent in such circumstances.

your obsession with brexit and the associated self loathing for your homeland has become quite tiresome, even more so when you scatter your neuroses all over the forum.

you go on and on and on about "lumpen engerlish dross" yet choose to live in pattaya, thailands equivalent to margate or clacton, surrounded on all sides by the most lumpen of thai dross, and lets face it, a rather large contingent of brit, yank, aussi, chink and euro dross too.

    are you a masochist?

you make no sense at all.

I have no contact with Thai other than those with whom my wife associates, and of course assorted tradesmen, etc, etc. I have no acquaintances or friends, of any nationality, that might fit the category to which you seem to refer. My occupation of this country is somewhat akin to living in a rather nice hotel from which I can choose to travel where my whim takes me. As long as I pay the tariff the management ensures my stay remains within expectations but I have no control over how they choose to implement resources to meet them.

Life is pleasurable, safe and without inconvenience save for whichever COVID regime intrudes.

As I understand it, the UK is divided, pretty well ungovernable in respect of many sections of its society, is exceptionally inclement, expensive, and given the random nature of its crime it is a place where no-one is safe from arbitrary violence. I think the recent slaughter of the young man shopping in Waitrose in Kilburn speaks volumes.

The point is Tax, Britain has been demeaned by Brexit and is facing certain economic decline hastening political conflict giving rise to sectarian strife, civil unrest by the urban poor whose impoverishment is clearly worsening and disenchantment with the worst cabal of political shysters ever to govern the UK. And no citizen will be immune from these depredations.

I don't think you can say that about my current location, old fruit, where I live in a bubble, immunised from Thai society simply because I am of independent means and have no relevance to their hierarchical structures. Any xenophobia displayed by their authorities can usually be negotiated not least because they seldom maintain any silliness for too long.

The England in which I lived and liked remains the same country, geographically, but a significant proportion of its population have revealed themselves to be a shower of utter shite.

I really don't see how you are perplexed by my attitude.

England is fine, the Engerlish trash are not.

i think care home would be a more appropriate description.

as far as crime goes, a quick look at any thai newspaper will show you that crime levels and especially crimes of violence are exceptionally high.

in the uk, and especially london, feral gangs have been allowed to fester thanks to the leftist manta of identity politics, soft policing, the victim culture, the cowardly reluctance to call a spade a spade and the glorification of the single mother, or should i say fatherless child, over a stable family. these are all labour values promoted by teachers, politicians and rainbow attired activists and the results are there to see for all those not blinded by todays left leaning woke culture of unwarranted tolerance and acceptance at all costs.

thailand, being a more homogenous society, does not suffer these problems to the same extent but violence and bullying is endemic to their culture because of other reasons thanks to the nature of the thai personality.

re. brexit, the uk will recover from the teething troubles imposed by the brussles penpushers and their love of the blue ink, red ink, form filling and procedure that has made trading outside the eu so difficult. it is nothing more than hatred and fear of competition and true free trade . the eu is a protection racket.

I don't expect people born and bred in Thailand to see the world like me or prioritise like me.

The scenarios that SA juxtaposes between punishments a meth smuggler and someone selling vaping hardware gets are indeed riidiculous and bonkers.

But this is a country with a cultural backdrop vastly different to my own.

Rightly or wrongly, it just doesn't concern or bemuse me in the way that a thick as pigshit BREXIT mofo does.

I rather think your powers of reasoning were somewhat bounded, if not blunted, by the not entirely insignificant fact you spent most of your working life staring into someone's gob.

Tax, two points: Thai cultural interaction excludes me from their social fabric as a result of which their behaviour has little significant impact upon my life here, except of course as a consequence of sheer happenstance and therefore I am unlikely to fall victim to crime in the way that is more likely within my own UK society given my interaction with the prevailing society there is much greater, and secondly, the teething problems as you claim are not as a consequence of the EU, you fuckihg idiot, but as the direct consequence of Britain imposing its own customs and excise controls. And they are not teething, you buffoon, they are a concomitant to choosing the abandonment of frictionless trade declared by the Tory ERG and endorsed by May at the Tory conference 2016 as Brexit policy. The barriers are permanent, dumbo, they define Brexit. When you go to Paris or Madrid and buy Mrs Tax a new fur coat or a gallon of Chanel perfume you will pay duty, you gormlesss fuckwit, on your return to Leeds/Bradford because you are no longer in the single market and customs union, you turnip head.

When you go into the toilet for a shit, Tax, do you forget why you went there?

Oh absolutely, SA is certainly a wordsmith, if not poet albeit somewhat pompous and a touch bitter at his sorry lot in life. Always enjoy reading his rants. The fact remains though that his sentance above was too long and should have been cut in two, at least.
