The popular Mae Klong Seafood Market in Samut Songkram Province is now quiet due to the fear of Covid-19 among seafood clients (Jan 15, 2020).

The Samut Songkram Municipality and seafood sellers have imposed strict measures to prevent Covid-19, but the number of seafood buyers and tourists has steadily declined.

Mrs. Pensiri Parnraksa, who is the president of the Samut Songkram Fresh Market Council, has sent messages to buyers and tourists that the market is regularly cleaned.

There is hand cleaning jell for buyers and tourists, who must wear face masks while in the market.
