Seven youths found dead in different areas of Bangkok

Seven young Thais have been found dead from, as yet, unknown causes. A seventh is thought to have died from overdosing on a new form of narcotic cocktail, known among young users as “K powdered milk”.

Rescue workers, from the Por Teck Toeng Foundation, rushed to a house in Soi Charoenrat 7, in the Rama 3 area of Bangkok, after the discovery of the body of a young male. They found no immediate evidence of violence in the room or on the body of the victim, aged about 20, but did fine traces of “K powered milk”, which is a cocktail of ketamine, heroin, sleeping pills and methamphetamine.

Police said that users of this drug cocktail get a rapid onset high, but the mixture can kill if overused.

The same foundation also received calls reporting the deaths of six other young people in different parts of the capital, including a young woman in Soi Ratchadapisek 18, who used to work at an entertainment venue in the Rama 3 area.

All the deceased have been taken to Ramathibodi and Chulalongkorn hospitals for autopsies.

Well, yeah, that's quite a cocktail.

Just thinking back to the age of 20-21, oddly enough the only one of those that I've never done are the sleeping pills.

Fentanyl has landed in Thailand. Now the authorities will start banning all safe legit pain medications to fight the evil opiates. Which will make the demand for fent even higher. Which will kill more people. Which will make them come down even harder. And the stack of bodies will only grow. Just like we have in North America.

In a couple years, life expectancy in Thailand will start to fall. And the government will keep doing the opposite of the right thing. This is while the whole world liberalizes its view on marijuana. They think that the iron laws of drug prohibition dont apply to opiates. But they are wrong. But it wont matter. Supply destruction is not demand destruction.

Its a good time to get into the morgue and funeral business.

Somebody will say that after enough people die , then there won't be anyone left addicted to it. And then the demand will go away. Well first off , it's the casual non addicted users that die the most. The junkies know the supply best. And secondly , we are 10 years into that experiment in North America. It was in 2010 that the volume of legit opiates started to fall. And now in 2020, we will break the record. The data is just coming in and its a bumper crop. A record amount of deaths. But hey, let's try it for another decade.

Was it really that good ? For me, it felt like being on holidays in a beach bungalow, and flinging the curtains open on a nice sunny morning. It makes you feel good but you sort of feel sober.

I'd put it this way. If someone is relatively content with their life , has a job they don't hate and has some money in the bank, they might not notice it. Or they'd at least say "that's it ?"

But someone with lots of problems will find that all of their problems went away. A friend of mine who did it , his first reaction was "this must be what it feels like to be normal"

I did it with a mate in Phnom Penh in a cheap backpackers' place near the old lake. I remember smoking it and lying back on the bed and I could have been anywhere in the world. Total bliss. Wonderful.

I can understand why people get hooked. Once was most definitely enough.

There will end up being fentanyl found. Insane drug cocktails have been around forever.

Only fentanyl has the ability to kill young healthy people consistently.

So is the implication that all or most of these youths bought the same bad drugs?

And if so, how come the authorities haven't.....

    Oh never mind.

Woman arrested following ‘k-powdered milk’ drug cocktail deaths

THAILAND: A young woman has been arrested in Bangkok’s Sai Mai area and a quantity of a new illegal drug cocktail known as “k-powdered milk” seized in the wake of the death of six people who used it.

Sirikarn Chuekhetkram, 23, was taken into custody in front of a house in Jitpawan community in Sai Mai area today (Jan 12) by police acting on a tip-off alleging she sold the drug cocktail, known as “k-nom pong” by Thai users because of its appearance.

The cocktail is reported by Thai news outlets to contain ketamine, methamphetamine, heroin and a sedative. Police say they have yet to fully analyse it.

The police team, led by Metropolitan Police Division 2 chief Pol Col Saksit Meesawat, searched the woman and found three small plastic bags of drugs in her pockets.

She allegedly confessed there were three more packets of the same drugs in her bedroom. She took them there and police found the drugs.

Ms Sirikarn told police the drug mixture contained ketamine and a sleeping pill called “rosé” (ramelteon, commonly prescribed under the brand name Rozerem).

Ms Sirikarn allegedly said she bought the drugs from a friend in Pathum Thani’s Lam Luk Ka district’s soi Khlong 2 for B470 a gramme and sold them on Facebook for B600 a gramme. Her regular customers were young people in Sai Mai area.

She allegedly admitted having sold the drugs for a long time before being caught.

Ms Sirikarn was initially charged with illegal possession of category 2 drugs with intent to sell. She was taken to Sai Mai police station for legal action.

Yesterday, national police chief Pol Gen Suwat Jangyodsuk ordered a crackdown on the new illegal drug cocktail following the death of six people, three men and three women aged 21-34 years, after using it.

Five of them died in the area under the jurisdiction of Wat Phraya Krai police station in Bangkok.

My best buddy from work wad gotten in a bad work accident and almost killed, he had several crushed bones, and pins in his legs for the bones to heal,
He had a multi million payday coming from the ensuing lawsuit
The pain he was under for several months was incredible, and he was under strong opioid painkillers. After about one year he was finally mending enough where he could walk with a crutch, and him and his GF took a vacation in Florida, (i was in NYC at the time), he forgot about the painkiller, had a lot to drink, went to sleep and never woke up.
He was 51 years old and the nicest guy you would ever want to meet.

    Obviously.

Just what do you think many drug dealers do between buying and selling product?

It's a totally unregulated market with zero quality control or anything. Drugs being illegal is total insanity.

It's a miracle more ppl don't die. But we can't say that anymore in North America. Because people are dying in droves.

Europe has avoided this slaughter because relatively safe Afghan heroin can still get in through the land routes. This isn't the case in north America. Afghan can't get in so to make up for the lost supply , drug dealers are making synthetic fentanyl in labs and they can't figure out how to make it safe enough.a few grains of fent can kill a person in 15 minutes
