hundreds of these ancient buses, which consist of recycled chassis and their patched up engines, fitted out with equally old and barely maintained steering and braking systems, and rebodied with paper thin coachwork perforated with vast expanses of artery slicing plate glass windows and painted to look like fairground rides hurtle up and down the country 24 hours a day piloted by amphetamine frazzled chickenheads, their dilated pupils struggling to make sense of what they can see through a greasy cracked windscreen already seriously obscured with stickers, dangling tinsel, ornaments, flashing neon buddhas and grinning michelin men, and whose only aim is to reach their destinations as quickly as possible with little though to either the comfort or safety of their passengers or even any other road user within 100 yards of these ridiculous smoke belching contraptions.
