Big Motor Sale 2020 revs up at Bitec

The “Big Motor Sale 2020” will roar ahead at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (Bitec) in Bang Na from August 21 to 30, swerving the impact of Covid-19.


Organiser Yanyont Square Group said the showcase of the hottest wheels in the auto industry would help press the accelerator on the economy in the middle of the year.

Large crowds are expected at the event, where top brands will be touted across halls 101 to 105, said group president Jaruay Khanmanee.

Brands on display will include MG, Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Suzuki, Aston Martin, Hyundai, Subaru, Mazda, Kia, Peugeot, Mitsubishi, Volvo, Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, BMW, Mini and DT Moto.

“New normal” hygiene measures will be in place throughout the event, said the organiser.

I have a Fortuner and Toyota IMO has lost it's sparkle. Especially with the dealers and servicing. Toyota has it's faults like any other manufacturer but I wouldn't go for a new Toyota. Can also be said for the Isuzu as well.

Currently I'm having a little trouble with MG. My wife went down and paid a cash deposit. She asked for the Scarlet Red colour. It's one of the 5 colours they have in their brochure. They told her they'd call her the following day to give a delivery day. Yes they phoned her but regarding the Scarlet Red it was 'No haaaave'. She was told MG had stopped production of the Red Extender. Dunno about their other models. Sent their Customer Service an Email and I awaiting an answer

Nah. I'm still after a MG Extender Scarlet Red. Anyways my missus decided to look her birth date up to see what colour she can have if we can't get red. We have an alternative colour choice of Metallic Silver, Grey, White or Black. My missus lets out a scream on checking her horoscope. She can't have white. Why the scream? We've been driving around in a white Fortuner for the last 6 years. Okay says I we'll get it, if we can't get red, in Metallic Silver. 'No can have Bronze' WTF? I said 'Metallic Silver isn't bronze'. But she's insistent Metallic Silver is bronze and won't give in. Fcuk the car. Can someone please ask their wife what my missus is smoking?
