In a twist of fate, if only she had been wearing that COVID mask she was supposed to, like everyone else in the shop, she might have been a lil' less identifiable!

Rumour has it she was doing a bit of last minute, er, "Shopping" for a trip to Samui.... (if this is her)
Koh Samui Island Tourist Information Public Group | Facebook
"An update on the Australian arrested for shoplifting in Chang Moi - Thai media has now identified her as Emily Catherine Duffell.According to multiple later reports she claims that she didn't pay as she had forgotten her purse.
A person by the same name who is from Australia (kids are in Australian school uniforms on her profile and it's a fairly unique name) posted on the Koh Samui Island Tourism Information Group June 15 saying they planned to travel from CM to Koh Samui Friday and were looking for accommodation.
If it's the same person - I can't be 100% sure but certainly the photos from her profile and the person arrested appear to be similar, her name can be found in Australia media reports as a publisher of a children's book, a Melbourne-based sleep consultant and mother-of-two. On the latter, her FB profile shows her with two kids."
Well, 'sunglasses' would fit.
Notice the difference in wording there. Maybe she was silly enough to think she was getting thousands of baht in designer gear. Her “haul” comprised 5 pairs of sunglasses valued at 100 baht each and a purse priced at 150 baht.
Impressive that the force could spare 4 cops to accompany her back to her hotel, anyway.
CSI Harry. oh life must be dull
