An Internet provider that admitted blocking a popular adult video website made a quick U-turn and restored the site after exasperated Thai netizens created an online storm.


The drama unfolded after a woman asked the unnamed Internet provider on Twitter if it had blocked the famous adult video website Pornhub. The provider claimed at first that it had simply limited the Internet speed but then admitted to blocking access to the website as it contained “inappropriate content”.


Netizens were quick to voice their anger and frustration, arguing it was their right to watch videos on Pornhub without being monitored and demanding in no uncertain terms that access be restored forthwith.

The provider subsequently retracted its words and announced that its clients can now access the website and other adult sites.

Does that mean the Thai government has stopped blocking porn sites?

No there was plenty of porn blocked when I checked for research purposes earlier.

I thought they did block porn sites.

They must have forgotten one.

A VPN works? So I'm told.

Good that our glorious leaders allow people to visit porn sites; as the world progresses it's only a matter of time before they allow prostitution.
