Speaking as a "non trained school teacher" but as a parent and an "educated person" only.

As we have seen illustrated here on TD, the now famous "Dogs" thread, an inclusive parent can and does produce a well rounded individual. Being involved and if required, taking personal steps will add to any child's education in all subjects.

    Historically I agree.

In the future, ASEAN and Chinese, language skills will enhance an individual's prospects. The video illustrates the accepted low standard.

Poor teaching of both languages, English and Chinese, in Thai schools, will only hold Thailand's citizens back from accessing more occupations.

I'm just surprised Thailand even offers English classes in their public schools at all.

The purpose of schooling is just to get the kids educated enough to work in factories, taxis, food stalls, military etc.

The HiSo have their own means of educating their kids for all the other mid and upper tier jobs needed to be filled.

...exactly...Swampified "education" mainly prepares Ss to understand and accept local propaganda, generally referred to as "Thainess"...Thai-Chinese manipulate brown others with that notion while placing their own spawn on launch pads to success. Without this minority, however, the swamp wouldn't get much farther than Burma on the occasional steroid...
