^ not even the army can bring in a curfew on the day it’s announced, unless it’s a coup..

Or maybe it's all that ionised water you are spraying around the place.

Well here's an unmanned checkpoint on one of the major roads into CM:

Because the virus is only active between 10:01PM and 3:59AM and travels by car at very specific times.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Please feel free to re-post tonight with your observations.

Fancy heading down to Patpong tonight and giving some real analysis?

Photos, commentary on Social Distancing etc

...as an aside, this is not my first curfew: Esfahan late fall of 1978...about 2 months before the Shah was forced out...supermarkets empty, a nearby liquor store torched, all bars shut in preparation for Khomeini's arrival...pales in comparison to a Patpong closure, I know...

They are great fun, been in two but my best was the Maoist overthrow start in Nepal in 2005 when the then King locked it all down, we had to have Nepal Army march us in and out of our own Army camp. The whole confined to barracks got old after a week, they had a shoot to kill 6-6 policy but beer is mightier than the wobbly head and I popped out when a Nepali mate was having a cheeky party. All went well until we tried getting back at 5am across the Bagmati and a few bullets pinged off cars as we ranted his 125cc up the hill, funny how the bike seemed quick in normal traffic but felt like a slug up that hill with me as a human shield on the back. We chose a different route next weekend.
