^ agree. Been observing the street. The group of old guys still meet for a beer at 4pm, maskless. The extended family down the road still roam around maskless.

On the plus side 7/11 temp scans to get in, and maskless not allowed.

    Bastards stopped selling alcohol though.

My neighbours, who do have some education (former teacher, clerk at an amphoe etc) keep coming to us or inviting us for dinner (about 10 people, some I don't know ..one's son and step daughter, one's friend...) but do not I dare to walk my dog past 10pm not encountering anybody, because covid is dangerous and the curfew prohibit that...

Aside from this silly instance, it appears that a healthy percentage are missing the picture as to the reasoning and protocol behind said curfews, distancing, staying at home suggestions, minimum isolation, etc.
Quite obvious - as this nasty pathogen continues to fester, currently, throughout particular regions of the world [Europe/North America] with mad abandon - the citizenry taking little notice to their activities.

Certainly aren't getting it - stemming the movement of the bug.

It's not a complete lock down, but you can't just come and go without good reason either. Assuming you know the local geography, anywhere East of Sukhumvit between Chayapruek and a bit past BPH has checkpoints to stop people coming in and out now (again, unless they have good reason). Disruption to most of us living within the enclosed zone is zero. Not so easy for people living on the Darkside who need to access shopping or medical facilities or whatever in the greater Pattaya area West of Sukhumvit though.

So what does a lockdown mean for you in Pattaya? At first I thought it meant not leaving the house at all but now I think it's not leaving the province. Can you still go to 7 or Order food delivery?
