Oh no! That's a poorly run red state for ya. Here they are reserving the second dose for those of us who had our first shot. There was a recent shortage due to the weather and instead of delaying second jabs they made people who have not had the first reschedule. I hope you get yours soon.

This should make things a little easier.

Malaysia Airlines to roll out digital travel health pass

    By TTG Asia
    / Posted on 26 February, 2021 13:23

Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has plans to introduce the Digital Travel Health Pass to help streamline its passengers’ travel journey, in the latest effort by the airline to instil post-pandemic travel confidence.

The health pass, which will be integrated with the MAS mobile app, will allow passengers to easily make appointments with certified medical partners to carry out a Covid-19 RT-PCR test or include their Covid-19 vaccination certificate on their mobile phones.

Don't sweat it. You already have a high level of immunity, and there is no evidence that the delay will have a detrimental effect. In fact they are talking about extending the AZ time between jabs to 12 weeks because it improves efficacy.

Digital Vaccine Passports gain momentum as EU agrees on their implementation by this summer. This does not mean that individual countries can not implement their own policy earlier.

"Digital vaccination certificates enabling people to travel in Europe despite the coronavirus pandemic will probably be available before the summer, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said after a virtual EU summit on Thursday. Germany was one of the opponents of the certificate. "

EU leaders agree on digital "vaccination certificate" but not before summer

My second jab scheduled in 2 weeks.
    Completed.

....a side note: quite surprised as to the sheer organized process and practiced professionalism for a continuing mass operation.
From what I understand, not the same everywhere - ranges from brilliant and orderly fashion to chaotic bureaucratic messes.

    Cheers!

In my home state of Florida we are we are hard at work trying to improve the situation to a "chaotic autocratic mess" Our covid vaccine system is currently classified as a Clusterf#ck .
They have currently decided that since our over 65 Vaccine system is working so well, they will wait until everyone is 65 years or older before they qualify.
I only have two more years to go WooHoo!!

I don't think anyone is the slightest fucking bit puzzled.

In the hunt for the source of the Covid-19 disease, the World Health Organization confirmed China identified supply chains for animals sold in Wuhan, where the first known outbreak occurred, a move based on the view the virus may have first infected traded wildlife.

But identifying the supply networks is the first step, the next is to run comprehensive, targeted tests of animals and people involved to try and trace the path of the virus before the outbreak more than 12 months ago.

To the puzzlement of some overseas experts, China’s authorities seemingly failed to follow up with this testing in supply routes leading back to farms and animal breeders in certain regions of the country.

Mass vaccinations in Washington State are very efficient, as it only took 20 minutes waiting in the car and then about 30 minutes once inside including the mandatory 15 minute waiting period. The website for scheduling however is a dog's breakfast.

Second Moderna dose is scheduled for 19 March and am hopeful the supply builds up again as it ran pretty dry this past week. Washington prioritizes the second dose over first doses. No reactions to the shot at all for me.

Have got several friends in Florida having problems getting the shot. They keep talking about some place called "Pubics" that administers the shots. That would concern me!

Small world. I am in Washington as well. I am scheduled to get my second jab on the 18th of March. Not only that, but I bet we went to the same mass vac location. As you said very organized and orderly. You can see that they have prepared for the day that they get a lot more doses to really move people through the queue.

The vaccine companies have been asked to take a risk and accelerate vaccine development and production at the request of governments.

As businesses, they would not normally expose themselves to financial ruin by doing this, so there is nothing wrong with them asking for indemnity.

If countries don't wish to underwrite it, they can freely choose to go and get the chinky or Russian vaccines and see how that works out for them.

That's all well and good and easy to indemnify etc. However, how about negligence... as in they knowingly did something deceitful. Indemnify them for that? They are bullying pricks. Smart though...
