So what, do you think vaccines normally go straight from being trialled on mice and monkeys to being available to a country's population?

Jabir doesn't want his vaccine to have been previously trialled on humans, though.

He wants to get it fresh.

Don't the scientists take the first jabs as they have in the past?

It would appear that the stupid bubble and squeak and the other eurotrash were told to sit down and STFU.

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The European Commission has so far approved all requests for the export of COVID-19 vaccines, including to Britain, the United States, China and Japan, since it set up on Jan. 30 a mechanism to monitor vaccine flows, a spokeswoman said on Thursday.

The accommodating stance is expected to alleviate concerns from global partners about the EU’s willingness to allow COVID-19 vaccines to leave its territory, despite the 27-nation bloc having faced supply disruptions and a cut in vaccine deliveries.

The EU granted in total 37 authorizations for vaccine exports to 21 countries between Jan. 30 and Feb. 10, the spokeswoman said, without giving precise figures on the number of shots being exported from factories in the EU, citing confidentiality reasons.

The EU had exported millions of vaccines to several countries including Britain, Israel, China and Canada before the monitoring scheme was set up, according to customs data cited in an EU internal document seen by Reuters.
A second EU official said exports since the end of January concerned only vaccines produced by Pfizer Inc with BioNTech and Moderna Inc.
Nations that received COVID-19 vaccines produced in the EU since Jan. 30 are: Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Oman, Panama, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Quite mysterious when EU does not have enough and Mutti Merkel giving a deep apology. Beside her big recent fight with the Ursula VDL

Angela Merkel and VDL ripped apart in German newspaper for HISTORIC failure
ANGELA MERKEL and Ursula von der Leyen have been condemned over their "historic and poorly organised vaccine procurement" by a leading German newspaper, as the European Union is plunged into crisis of its handling of the pandemic.

Senior doctors are calling on England's chief medical officer to cut the gap between the first and second doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine.

Prof Chris Whitty said extending the maximum wait from three to 12 weeks was a "public health decision" to get the first jab to more people across the UK.

But the British Medical Association said that was "difficult to justify" and should be changed to six weeks.

It comes as early evidence suggests the UK virus variant may be more deadly.

Some light at the end of the tunnel for our American friends (if they live there that is).

President Joe Biden said Thursday that the U.S. will have enough supply of the COVID-19 vaccine by the end of the summer to inoculate 300 million Americans.

Biden says US is securing 600 million vaccine doses by July

Will be interesting to see when the vaccine injections start to flatten the curve in the USA. The trajectory currently is on a fast track upward......

    Not to be outdone:

After months of playing the holier than thou card the victorious and vainglorious Ardern government has secured 12.000 vaccines. Proudly constantly repeated "earlier than Australia" whereas before it was a matter of not putting NZ's welfare above those in third world countries and wanting to see the efficacy of the vaccines . . . this was as recently as just last week. Those were the excuses for not having a vaccine then, now just a footnote in history

Seriously revolting government and the media is as bad

To be fair it's easier when you have two international airports operating at the arse end of the world . . . and so many political nuances by Ardern, it's nauseating. Kiwis themselves, no worries . . . Teflon-Jacinda . . . nah. We were lucky to not have major spreads - when I got the second-last from KL to NZ last March I wasn't temperature-tested, didn't have to prove where I was staying etc... Had my covid-test and no results for five days . . . until I called a reporter from the local rag etc...

I can feel all those 5G antibodies flowing around my DNA chip.

An Israeli healthcare provider that has vaccinated half a million people with both doses of the Pfizer vaccine says that only 544 people — or 0.1% — have been subsequently diagnosed with the coronavirus, there have been four severe cases, and no people have died.

That means the effectiveness rate stands at 93 percent, Maccabi Healthcare Services announced on Thursday, after comparing its immunized members to a “diverse” control group of unvaccinated members.

Full protection against COVID-19 for people who have been vaccinated is believed to kick in a week after the second shot, so the Maccabi data covers all those of its members who are seven or more days after receiving that second dose.

Chinky fucking bastards at it again.

BEIJING—Chinese authorities refused to provide World Health Organization investigators with raw, personalized data on early Covid-19 cases that could help them determine how and when the coronavirus first began to spread in China, according to WHO investigators who described heated exchanges over the lack of detail.

The Chinese authorities turned down requests to provide such data on 174 cases of Covid-19 that they have identified from the early phase of the outbreak in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2019. The investigators are part of a WHO team that this week completed a monthlong mission in China aimed at determining the origins of the pandemic.

Chinese officials and scientists provided their own extensive summaries and analysis of data on the cases, said the WHO team members. They also supplied aggregated data and analysis on retrospective searches through medical records in the months before the Wuhan outbreak was identified, saying that they had found no evidence of the virus.

Any vaccine that can limit the effects of the virus has its use.
