Another fucking retard. I hope they track him down and I hope the teen bankrupts the fucking bully.

A man punched a 17-year-old Sesame Place employee in the face after the teen reminded him to wear a mask, police said.
The incident occurred Sunday at the Sesame Place theme park in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. A teen employee told an unidentified man and woman that they were required to wear masks while in the park due to COVID-19.
Later that day, around 5 p.m., the same man confronted the teen worker at the Captain Cookie’s High C’s Adventure ride and punched him in the face, police said. The man and woman then fled from the scene as park security chased after them. Investigators said they were last seen driving away in a vehicle registered in New York.

South Korea's public health authorities said Monday they have found three new mutated genome sequences of the novel coronavirus among imported cases.

Genetic mutations were detected to "spike protein," the major surface protein of the virus, from the three COVID-19 imported cases -- two from Pakistan and one from Uzbekistan -- according to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC).

The KCDC said the new mutations are different from 78,810 viral genome sequences registered at the GISAID database on the virus run by the World Health Organization.

"(Three people) were self-isolated upon entering the country. There were no people who had contact with them in the country," KCDC chief Jeong Eun-kyeong said in a press briefing

The finding was based on the KCDC's analysis of sequenced genomes of a total of 776 COVID-19 patients, including 597 local infections and 179 imported cases.

Jeong said further experiments should be conducted to determine the level of infectivity and pathogens.

The new coronavirus is classified into seven strains -- S, V, L, G, GH, GR and the rest -- in accordance with an amino acid, according to the GISAID database.

The GH clade was detected in 437 local infections, with most linked to a warehouse by the country's leading e-commerce operator, the KCDC said.

The GH clade, which mutated from the S strain, proliferates well in cells and is more infectious, which may make it spread faster.

The second-most-common coronavirus clade in South Korea was V, with 120 locally transmitted cases falling into the genetic strain, the KCDC said.

According to the KCDC, 32 local cases were grouped under S clade, and eight cases under GR.

Of the 179 imported cases, 100, or 56 percent, were classified as GR clade, 40 as GH clade and 18 as G clade, the KCDC said.

The country identified an additional 28 virus cases on Monday, including 17 local infections, raising the total caseload to 14,626, the KCDC said. (Yonhap)

These mutations are scary and obviously account for the myriad symptoms.

Putin Announces ‘World’s First’ Coronavirus Vaccine

Russia has registered the world’s first coronavirus vaccine early Tuesday, President Vladimir Putin announced amid widespread concerns about the rapidly developed vaccine’s safety.

The state-run Gamaleya research institute last week launched Phase III trials of the Covid-19 vaccine involving thousands of volunteers. The Health Ministry has said it plans to begin mass production of the vaccine as soon as next month and launch a mass vaccination drive in October.

“This morning, for the first time in the world, a vaccine against the new coronavirus was registered,” Putin said in a televised cabinet session broadcast.

“I know that it’s effective and forms sustainable immunity,” he said.

Putin said one of his daughters, whose identity he has neither confirmed nor denied to date, has already taken the vaccine.

Its registration certificate on the Health Ministry website notes that the vaccine, an injection solution called “Sputnik-V,” will enter civilian circulation on Jan. 1, 2021.

Experts, including an industry body representing multinationals that conduct clinical trials in Russia, have called the vaccine’s swift registration without completing Phase III trials a “Pandora’s box.”

The World Health Organization last week urged Russia to follow established guidelines and go "through all the stages" necessary to develop a safe vaccine.

Russia has the world’s fourth-highest Covid-19 caseload with almost 900,000 infections.

After over four months online this past Sunday we were sent to the training centre for face to face. Three days later we're shutting it down as several trainees tested positive. None of my guys have tested positive (thankfully) but since we're in the same building the call has been made to shut down. My trainees are not too happy as the internet in their desert hamlets is pretty substandard.

Our training department moved WFH a long time ago, they struggled a bit at first because we are a Teams shop and they preferred Zoom, but now that Teams have added breakout rooms and the rest of the things they wanted, they are as happy as Larry.

I think it might halt the expansions they had planned as they probably don't need all those new classrooms.

New Zealand has recorded four new cases and has put Auckland into Level 3 lockdown whatever that is.

Apparently one person tested positive with no history of overseas travel, as did three family members.

MOSCOW: Russia has named its first approved COVID-19 vaccine 'Sputnik V' for the foreign markets. It is a reference to the world's first satellite Sputnik and what Moscow sees as its success at becoming the first country to approve a vaccine, a top official said.

Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) sovereign wealth fund, said Russia had already received requests from more than 20 countries for 1 billion doses of its newly-registered COVID-19 vaccine.

He was speaking after President Vladimir Putin announced the approval after less than two months of human testing.

The speed at which Russia is moving to roll out the vaccine has prompted some international scientists to question whether Moscow is putting national prestige before solid science and safety.

You can see where baldy orange cunto get his propensity for bald faced lies from:

...""it has passed all the needed checks,” Putin said on state television".

    Er... No. It hasn't.

LONDON (Reuters) - An announcement by Russia on Tuesday that it will approve a COVID-19 vaccine after less than two months of human testing prompted alarm among global health experts, who said that with no full trial data, the vaccine is hard to trust.

Intent on being first in the global race to develop a vaccine against the pandemic disease, Russia has yet to conduct large-scale trials of the shot that would produce data to show whether it works - something immunologists and infectious disease experts say could be a “reckless” step.

“Russia is essentially conducting a large population level experiment,” said Ayfer Ali, a specialist in drug research at Britain’s Warwick Business School.

She said such a super-fast approval could mean that potential adverse effects of a vaccine may not be picked up. These, while likely to be rare, could be serious, she warned.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said the vaccine, developed by Moscow’s Gamaleya Institute, was safe and that it had been administered to one of his daughters.

“I know that it works quite effectively, forms strong immunity, and I repeat, it has passed all the needed checks,” Putin said on state television.

Francois Balloux, an expert at University College London’s Genetics Institute, said it was “a reckless and foolish decision”.

“Mass vaccination with an improperly tested vaccine is unethical,” he said. “Any problem with the Russian vaccination campaign would be disastrous both through its negative effects on health, but also because it would further set back the acceptance of vaccines in the population.”

His comments were echoed by Danny Altmann, a professor of Immunology at Imperial College London, who said the “collateral damage” from deploying any vaccine that is not yet known to be safe and effective “would exacerbate our current problems insurmountably”.

Even as Russia declared victory, more than half a dozen drugmakers around the world are in the process of conducting large-scale, advanced human trials of their potential COVID-19 vaccines, each with tens of thousands of volunteer participants.

Several of these frontrunners, including Moderna (
MRNA.O), Pfizer (PFE.N) and AstraZeneca (AZN.L), say they hope to know if their vaccines work and are safe by the end of this year.

All are expected to publish their trial results and safety data and submit them to regulators in the United States, Europe and elsewhere for scrutiny before any licence could be granted.

The Russian vaccine’s approval by the Health Ministry comes before trials that would normally involve thousands of participants, commonly known as a Phase III trial. Such trials are usually considered essential precursors for a vaccine to secure regulatory approval.

Peter Kremsner, an expert at Germany’s University Hospital in Tuebingen who is working on clinical trials of a vaccine candidate from CureVac, said Russia’s move was “reckless”.

“Normally you need a large number of people to be tested before you approve a vaccine,” he said. “I think it’s reckless to do that if lots of people haven’t already been tested.”

Experts said the lack of published data on Russia’s vaccine - including how it is made and details on safety, immune response and whether can prevent COVID-19 infection - leaves scientists, health authorities and the public in the dark.

“It is not possible to know if the Russian vaccine has been shown to be effective without submission of scientific papers for analysis,” said Keith Neal, a specialist in the epidemiology of infectious diseases at Britain’s Nottingham University.

Especially, when it is the one stolen in UK, isn't it?

...and the Vlad gave the name to the vaccine: "Sputnik V." .... Wasn't the Sputnik the first Earth satellite? - and wasn't it also stolen from (please no names here)?

This is Vlad's propaganda website designed to whine that the West won't applaud Russia for "inventing a vaccine".

Despite all the silly links they've posted (sounds familiar?) the only actual data they have is for 76 people in a Phase I trial.

Get vaccinated now HooHoo! It's perfectly safe! Vlad said so!

Some ordered the vaccine from somewhere else before its testing. (surely for very advantageous price, similarly as is the case with advantagous oil supply...)
And didn't they signed an affidavit confirming that they agree with indemnity of the vaccine-maker? (the link doesn't mention...)

EU nations sign deal for coronavirus vaccine

Germany, France, Italy, and the Netherlands have signed a contract for pre-orders of 300 million doses of a coronavirus vaccine currently in development. All EU countries will be able to take part the program.

Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands signed an initial deal with pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca for over 300 million doses of a promising coronavirus vaccine currently still in the experimental phase, Germany's health ministry confirmed Saturday.

Doses of the vaccine would be distributed to countries relative to their population as soon as it is ready, the ministry said, adding that all EU members can participate in the program.

The vaccine is expected to be finished by the end of 2020.

"In order for the vaccines to be available in large numbers very quickly after their possible approval this year or next year, production capacities must be guaranteed by contract now," the ministry said.

I do not see it now, it does not matter, anybody can consider by his brain whether such mentioning of Afghanistan is very clever...
