Trump puts Mike Pence in charge of US response to coronavirus
Smart move by Trump.
If it goes 'belly-up' (fails) he can blame the VP.
If it goes well, he will claim that his administration kicked it's arse.
Trump isn't completely dumb
I would have thought that would be Jared's forté, along with bringing peace to the middle east, building the wall and having him watch as Trump gropes his wife
Thoughts and prayers.
Pence looking kinda pissed at Trump there. Here in UB the quarantine gets stricter, now all sporting establishments including gyms are closed for month, I can feel my mental health declining already.
You could talk about how bad Brexit is! Make sure you pick a time when Troy, Cryille and Mr Sausage are also available!
I'm also getting a bit bored here in Korea, not going out much, the next 3 weeks 'working' from home, so if anybody fancies popping over for a visit you're more than welcome (Chokdee has two beds, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind sharing one...).
Korea has jumped up overnight by another 20%; we only had about 50 cases this time last week.
^ &, another 210,000 sect members are currently being tested, so that number is gonna massively rise!!!
S. Korea's virus infections near 1,600, new cases center on hardest-hit Daegu, church followers
The church is all over Korea, but expect another few thousand infected just from their Daegu 'branch':
We had a visitor yesterday (not sure what it actually does...):
(Yep, the wife likes to keep her 'office' area nice and tidy... )
&, only a few pages back, folks were saying that I was over-reacting... Where is Mr Sausage now with his 'predications'???

Cycling should be banned!!!
That would be great, actually! The news is coming in thick and fast today, if I understood the TV correctly then all bars are also now closed for a month. That is certainly going to put a dent in most of the cities social life and I also feel for my local friends who work in bars, they will be going without pay for a month. As I see it life is still pretty decent for me, I'm glad I don't work for the main competitor of my school - they might be made redundant at the end of March.
^ flights to Korea are really cheap at the moment! &, they'll likely give you a 2 week free holiday in a big tent by the airport before stamping your entry card - win, win!
A lot of people are suffering... My contract ends next month, I'm supposed to sign a new contract this week, it's been put back to next week, maybe they'll just get rid of me? Things are up in the air, for sure. I feel sorry for the employers too, they are taking big losses.
You obviously didn't watch Trump's presser, Dave.
Transcript of Trump's bullshit...
"I don’t think it’s inevitable, it’s possible, it’s probable. Small level or large level. Best people in the world, best prepared people. Ready, Willing and Able, a term we use. Very well under control. It may get bigger, it may get a little bigger.”
Good grief...
pues, estamos aqui
