Not enough tourists for Koh Samui hotels

Hoteliers in Koh Samui are suffering from oversupply, dragging down the occupancy rate.

The occupancy rate on the island during the final quarter this year, as of Dec 20, has plunged to 30% from 50% in the same period of 2018, said Vorasit Pongkumpunt, president of the Tourism Association of Koh Samui.

During the last two weeks of December, the occupancy rate should rise to 90%, putting it at 50% for the year.

There is no sudden "oversupply", there is an ongoing "undersupply". They've brought it on themselves, the greedy wankers.

Tourists have learned the the infrastructure is either non existent, or in the hands of tourism mafia. They won't be fooled by TAT promises and guesswork any more.

These Thai business owners make me fookin spew and I could not give a flying fuk if everyone of the wankers go broke and shrivel up and die a slow agonising death.

    Why you ask ?

Because the greedy coonts have been fleecing tourist blind for fuking decades and now things are a bit slow they are crying like little bitches . ?????

Fook em all, they are all coonters.

One would be struggling to find an honest fookin business owner on the whole fookin Island.

The ripoff begins at BKK when Bangkok Airways charge punters the same rate to Samui as a flight to Singapore for a 50 minute journey, then a ridiculous transfer charge to go maybe a mile or two to from Samui airport to your Chaweng/Bophut hotel and then the stupidly extortionate price to travel at night on a pig truck 'taxi' to for a mile or two from one place or another and then at the very end those thieving bastards Bangkok Airways charge an illegal departure tax to leave the fucking island.

I like Samui and the vibe of the place in the quiet season but the feeling they are out to fuck you in the arse all the time gets on your tits.

Haven't been there since the heady days when there was no airport and no big buildings.

No massive desire to go back.

In some circles, less and less can be construed as beneficial.

Very little will change. It will continue the downward spiral. Phuket gives the same impression of lawless ambivalence.

    Humanity's greed has no bottom.

The problem in many parts of Thailand is that the authrorities don't rein it in, and Samui is a prime example.

    Yer well,

I have a very good working relationship with the Thai but I find the worst of the worst are involved in the tourist business.

Fookin Island wankers are totally out of control and a flame thrower would sort some of the corrupt and seriously bent fukers out.

That said, my favourite Thai's are the normal punters who work in the markets and have zero to do with the tourist scum.

These are some of the best people on the planet and I salute them.

In Samui the local authorities are also 'prominent' island business leaders. While I agree that Samui is a good example of this kind of distortion, they do still fear the Army for some reason.
    Such patronage is non refundable.

    islands, that's the issue here

Corsica in France is a notorious no-right zone, where government officials can even get killed if they try to remove local mafia bosses

People should remember when pondering the tourist PR schtick about the lovely, friendly inoffensive Thai, the hundreds of Vietnamese boat people who were raped, pillaged and then murdered as they traversed the dangerous hunting grounds of the Samui Archipelago from where the Thai locals set out on their quest for easy pickings in the 1970s.

    Yes I agree Sausage Ass,

The Thai are nasty mentally disturbed lying killing machines eh.

I really liked them much better when they had fook all and looked upon us civilised White folk with much more respect and considered us Gods.

But now after decades of LOS filling up with Nasty Farang shit, pedophiles, hardened criminals and other nasty characters they have seen the light.

Because I'm cashed up ta fuk I tip them 5 baht on a 40 baht plate of noodle soup and they think I'm the best white fuker in Bangkok.

    Can't blame them eh.

They reckon Sausage arse ain't that bad but recon it would be nice if he could take his medication on a regular basis.

Chill the fuk out a bit they reckon.
