They’re very pissweak and sensitive for such a powerful nation.
    Why ?
Can’t be micropenis syndrome - a woman who was in a position to know (having taken a very large sample) once told me that the northern Chinese are generally quite well hung.
As mentioned above they are generally valuable migrants to Australia.
Some of the other nationalities are vastly less appealing.

It's just "face", both personally and internationally; what the title of this thread suggests. Seems pretty childish to us Westerners, but I guess we have our own problems.

    I get the face thing.
    As a Westerner I think it’s daft.

No dipshit. They just thought they were above getting the Russia treatment. But they are getting the Russia treatment now.

And Im surprised at how many people support this nonsense. Zero respect between great powers usually results in war. Im glad you're all ready to send your kids to fight the Chinese.

Whinging chinkies at it again. Instead of asking their ambassador or their MFA why they are shit at security, they are whinging at twatter. You would think with all the hackers they've got on their payroll that they could do this investigation themselves.

Oh, wait a minute: They can. It's the chinky blame game again!

China’s UK embassy has demanded Twitter carry out a “thorough” investigation and reserved the right to take further action after its ambassador’s account liked a pornographic post.
The embassy claimed Liu Xiaoming’s account had been “viciously attacked” on Wednesday, after it liked tweets including posts critical of the Chinese Communist party and a 10-second video of a sex act.
The likes remained active for at least an hour and were widely commented on before the pornographic tweet was unliked, and then later the others. Some hours later a spokesman for the London embassy released a statement condemning the alleged hack.
“Recently some anti-China elements viciously attacked ambassador Liu Xiaoming’s Twitter account and employed despicable methods to deceive the public. The Chinese embassy strongly condemns such abominable behaviour.

China demands Twitter inquiry as ambassador to UK 'likes' porn tweet | World news | The Guardian
The BBC report on this included a reported suggestion that perhaps, just possibly, the account holder had accidentally 'liked' a porn clip and then tried to hide the mistake by liking some other stuff that, of course, no one could possibly like.

    As if.

I doubt we shall ever hear the full details of the Twitter investigation. We don't want to embarrass anyone, do we?

On the other hand, it is possible that the account was hacked.

I don't think the number of posts containing cretinous skidmark drivel is a meaningful measure of a threads worth.

. . . well, there's that . . . plus most of his posts and threads end up in the DH which doesn't increase post count

I visited the war museum the last time I was in Seoul. They do an excellent job of paying tribute to the allied soldiers that lost their lives fighting off the disgusting chinky hordes.

I'm surprised the chinkies are up in arms really, they should be hanging their heads in shame and shutting the fuck up. Look at the shithole they left in the shape of North Korea.

Actually, some 30 years ago I too was visiting a museum in Seoul and another one further in the South by generous courtesy of my hosts. They have never mentioned any hostility against their Northern cousins (but to others yes), very proud on their culture....

Because your English is worse than theirs, one can only imagine how bad it was 30 years ago.

As an aside, you have very young children for your age - kudos.

    . . . from the article:

The band’s leader, RM, sparked outrage on social media in China when he cited the “history of pain” shared between South Korea and the US, who fought alongside each other in the 1950-53 conflict. China came to the aid of North Korean forces during the war, which ended in an armistice agreement but not a peace treaty.
Accepting an award for the seven-member band’s contribution to US-South Korea relations, RM said: “We will always remember the history of pain that our two nations shared together and the sacrifices of countless men and women.”

How US K-pop fans became a political force to be reckoned with

Chinese netizens responded with demands to end the band’s commercial interests in China, where it has at least 5 million fans on the popular social media platform Weibo.
“They should not make any money from China,” one angry user said on Weibo. “If you want to make money from Chinese fans you have to consider Chinese feelings.”

To be fair, the US do that as well as anybody.

I was almost lynched on some social site for saying they should do away with the pledge of allegiance and to get the national flag out of all classrooms. Perhaps replace the PoA with a few minutes of social studies about the different cultures and races in the country.

Christ they completely lost it. On par with the reaction of addressing a Bavarian beer hall in 1939 and announcing that Judaism is perfectly okay.
