Man arrested after killing family of 5

Police said Tuesday that a man caught on film shooting dead his pregnant wife, parents-in-laws and two other relatives is now in custody.

Teeraphol Pin-amon, 37, was apprehended while hiding in the forest in Ranong, hundreds of kilometers south from the Uttaradit province, where he massacred his wife’s family on Sunday. Police said Teerapho was on his way to escape to neighboring countries.

Investigators previously told reporters that the incident – which killed five people in their home and was captured on security camera – was likely a crime of passion. Teeraphol then fled the scene on a truck.

Psychopath. One hopes they'll just put him down like a sick animal. That's what he is.

^ more than 1.5 minutes between first shooting one of the females and going back to say a few words before shooting her in the head.

Wouldn't necessarily shout psychopath. Many, many Thais have this sort of built up anger and frustration in their lives, never mind the ego issues, that when they finally snap, fok do they snap. A complete lack of foresight doesn't help.

There is certainly a cultural divide between western slaughterers and their Asian counterparts. After massacring one's family in a mad fit of pique, a Westerner generally calms down afterwards and after a period of reflection blows his own head off or otherwise does the decent thing. Here, chicken heads run off and hide in the jungle, presumably to be nearer to their similarly cognitively impaired cousins, the monkeys. They are indeed a curious mixture of child and simian savage.

Having viewed the video recording one can safely conclude that those who opined the crime was one perpetrated in a moment of passion have all the intellectual acuity of a cataleptic Bonobo ape. This was a callous execution carried out by a stunted psychopath without any moral compass. If anyone deserves to be executed it is this creature. The reality of course is that if he were to be confronted with a tougher man in a physical altercation he would grovel in the dirt begging for forgiveness and mercy.
